The Cegonha Country Club is a 4 star aparthotel situated in the resort of Vilamoura. The resort is only five minutes' drive from the beach and Vilamoura Centre. All the apartments are tastefully decorated and furnished and equipped with modern facilities and amenities including a 4 ring hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. The studios have been recently redecorated. There is a wide range of leisure facilities on offer including an outdoor swimming pool, snack bar, two bars, private car park and a convenience store, open 24 hours.

“ Appartment was lovely and clean, clean towels etc regularly. Kitchenette included hob, oven, grill, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, plenty of cutlery. We had 1 bed appartment which had 2 single beds in bedroom and double sofa bed in living area, we asked for an infant bed so we were given a travel cot which was perfect. Swimming pool was lovely as were views from balcony. Cegonha is about 5 kms from beach so hire a car or taxi! cegonha was lovely and quiet, perfect for families, just be careful with tots on balcony as is easy for them to climb over and fall!!!!!!!! Would return to cegonha again no probs!!

“ Hotel is very basic has a pool but very little else requires a complete make over. you require transport to reach the beaches or shops. Bus service very poor.

We have stayed at the Cegonha many times before and have enjoyed our stay however we feel that it needs some improvements as it looks a little tired.
A great improvement for english speaking visitors if they would be to install a better TV system so that some programmes other than sky news could be received especially at this time of the year.
You would need a car to get you to and from the Marina as taxi fares are now expensive.
Sadly also Portugal seemed to cancel christmas!!! and quite a lot of the resturants and pubs had closed this year and not re opening till Feb / March

“ Lovely hotel, very clean, quiet location. We stayed in a 2 bed townhouse which was very spacious & had a well equipped kitchen (including dishwasher & washing machine). The hotel was very quiet when we visited in mid-October - some mornings we were the only people by the pool.

“ I have just returned from a 3 night stay and I have to say that it was pleasant and suited my needs well. I was there only to sleep as the rest of my group were booked into a beach hotel. This was a last minute booking and everything went smoothly.

Park Mourabel Pe do Lago & Oasis Village apartment units are located in Vilamoura, one of the most popular tourist resorts in the Algarve. They are ideal for those people who are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday but also want to enjoy all the facilities that Vilamoura has to offer. Falesia beach is only 1.8 kms away and easily reached by courtesy bus and nearby, guests can also find a commercial area with all kind of shops, cafeterias, restaurants and bars. The Parque Mourabel and Pe do Lago apartments are fully equipped with satellite TV, kitchenette, fridge, and terrace or balcony. Baby cots are available on request and will count as one person in the room and not in addition to the maximum occupancy. Guests can use any the facilities for any of the 3 resorts. Note for S11 the property has refurbished half of the rooms to a 4 star standard, inc airconditioning (Detailed as Superior)
“ Paid half board for very poor meals. These were at half price at the hotel. I was charged extra for Christamas meals (£56) and for apartment at 30 euros. NOT GOOD

“ Week long golf holiday and these apartments were ideal & larger than a hotel room with a great view over the marina. Even a change of room due to a faulty (v noisy) water boiler was dealt with smoothly and quickly. Breakfast fine if you like continental but there was some hot, eggs, baked beans, toast etc.
