Sol Wave House Hotel in Calviá enjoys and excellent location on the beachfront, apart from a marvellous place in which to enjoy other leisure and entertainment services that the area offers. The airport is 28.5 km away and the centre of Palma 17 km away.
This hotel is unique because right on its lower floor are the Wave House installations, with 2 revolutionary wave machines for surfing, whether you are a beginner or an advanced surfer. The Wave House also stands out for its music and the shows it periodically organizes.
This hotel in Magalluf is also ideal for golf-lovers, since a few minutes by car they have up to 5 golf courses in the Calviá area. The same goes for lovers of other types of sports such as trekking or cycling.
Sol Wave House Hotel forms part of the new Sol Hotel Calviá Beach Resort project, composed of several hotels from the Meliá International hotel chain.

- Is the challenge, is the point of attraction of Wave House
- 3 meter wave making an infinite barrel, as the classic Hawaiian Pipeline spot
- With water speeds up to 48 km/ph over a padded surface to generate a thick fast moving sheet of water
- You can book it for a minimum of one hour, with the options of: with an instructor or in private sessions
- Maximum 10 people per hour
- You need to pass a FlowRider skills test before you can get in the FlowBarrel
- You must be over 133cm to ride stand up on the FlowBarrel
FlowRider
- Is the fun brother of the FlowBarrel
- Is called “Double” because you can split it in 2 by a separator, and allow one rider in each side at the same time
- This is an endless wave that never curls
- With water speeds up to 32 km/ph over a plastic surface like a wrestling matt to generate a thing fast moving sheet of water
- Special for beginners to get skills to access on the FlowBarrel
- You will be able once you get level, to emulate maneuvers of other board sports
- You can book it for a minimum of one hour, with instructor or private sessions
- Maximum 10 people per hour
- You must be over 107cm to bodyboard on the FlowRider
- You must be over 133cm to ride stand up on the FlowRider

While staff were not unpleasant they were not very friendly. The bar staff must have shares in the place because there was a strict one person one drink rule at the bar at all times which meant that when you are away with a crowd of 14, each one of you has to go to the bar which was a pain in the neck. They wouldnt even let you carry a drink over to someone who was sitting a stones throw away. The all inclusive finished at 11 pm and even if you were in the queue as soon as the big hand reached 12, that was it...
Not a good place for families with young children, full of stag and hen weekends.
Selection of food was poor, there was burger and onions, pizza and paella for breakfast, snack and dinner and not much else.
Hotel was mostly clean, beds were relatively comfy. A few suspect marks on the walls in bedroom.
Overall it was an ok experience, it did what it said on the tin. Cheap all inclusive 18-30 style hotel...

“ THIS HOTEL WAS BRILLIANT RIGHT NEXT TO BEACH WHICH WAS A BONUS AND ALL THE CLUBS WERE CLOSE BY ESPECIALLY BCM!!!! GOOD PLACE TO STAY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE DEFINTELY GOING BACK THERE!!!!! FOOD WAS NOT ALL THAT THO BUT EVERYTHING ELSE FANTASTIC COULD NOT FAULT IT!!!

The Aparthotel Rosa Del Mar is a modern apartment complex with a spacious airy feel and well kept gardens throughout. They are located in Palma Nova just 100 metres from Son Matias beach. There are plenty of bars, shops and restaurants nearby. The complex offers an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a large terrace area. All apartments are spacious and well equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning.

The hotel was built in 1965 and renovated in 1994. It consists of a total of 168 rooms, of which 7 are suites and 77 are doubles. The hotel's facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a lift, a cafe, a bar and a laundry service. The inviting restaurant is air-conditioned. A car park and a garage are available for guests' use.
“ Great Hotel all round. did have same problem as other reviewers in that we arrived after midnight and were sent to apartments somehere else and brought back the next day but the standard of the hotel more than made up for this inconvience. Will definatly be back.

The Aquasol ApartHotel is located in the heart of Palma Nova, 150 metres away from one of the large white sandy beaches where you can find a wide range of shops, bars, restaurants and the possibility to practice many different water sports. The ApartHotel has a total of 132 apartments which have been totally refurbished to a very high standard during the winter of 2009/2010. They are distributed in independent blocks of 3 floors around the fantastic central pool area and are surrounded by a well kept tropical garden. The large modern pool with a separate section for children has a spacious terrace enabling you to enjoy sunbathing, have a meal at the poolside restaurant or sample one of our cocktails from the bar.
“ Spent 5 nights on bed and breakfast basis at the Aquasol , hotel was very quiet as closing soon for the winter season. Staff friendly and helpfull. Apartment clean and spacious. Would definetly return !!

The friendly and lively Honolulu Hotel stands on the Torrenova headland, close to all of the amenities of Magaluf and Palma Nova. The hotel offers its own facilities and entertainment programme, but if guests fancy a change of pace the two resorts are within easy reach. Hotel facilities include restaurant, dining room, a swimming pool and a variety of leisure sports. Please note: the hotel only accepts guests of 18yrs and over.
