This picturesque and rustic hotel is made up of an assortment of charming whitewashed buildings, surrounded by diverse countryside and situated within the Sierra de las Nieves nature reserve. It offers an authentic Andalusian experience in an idyllic hotel, with its striking surroundings made up of grey, rocky mounds and hills covered with pine trees and chestnuts and dotted with olive groves. Built in 2007, it has 21 rooms distributed between 6 different buildings, each located in a different unique part of the village. The hotel itself offers guests pure, understated style with its whitewashed faeades, dark wooden shutters and rustic furnishings.
It also features an entrance hall, a fully equipped meeting room, a launderette, a computer with Internet connection and a restaurant called ""Anafe"", located in the middle of the village.The hotel is located in the heart of the "Sierra de las Nieves" nature reserve, 12 km away from Ronda and 35 km from Marbella/Puerto Banes and its beaches. Sierra de las Nieves nature reserve is protected by UNESCO and categorised as a biosphere reserve. It is also a national hunting reserve. Pablo Ruiz Picasso Airport, Malaga, is approximately 105 km away.The 21 rooms are all different and are equipped with an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a television, Internet access, a ceiling fan, a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, central heating and a fireplace.
Most of them have a terrace.The complex has an outdoor swimming pool (for an additional charge). There is also a poolside snack bar and a sun terrace. Guests can also go canoeing, riding or mountain biking in the surrounding area.From Seville, take A376 to Utrera. Close to Utrera, continue along the A375 to Algodonales-Ronda. Continue along the A374, passing close to Montecorto.
At Ronda, continue along Carretera de Ronda. Take the A397 to San Pedro de Alcentara. After 8 km turn right onto MA519. After 3 km guests will arrive at Parauta.

This hotel is in an unspoiled white village. The local restaurant is where you take your meals and is spanish and good. Potted beef just
like my grandmother made (must be a celtic thing ) Potato soup
again, as above. Rustic but comfortable. One other restaurant close by at the end of the road. The village bar does good tapas.
The bad bit was to arrive on a sunday, no reception. keys at the restaurant, after 4 pm closed. phone, no battery left.
Visit in the season. Ronda 15/20 mins away

Top Tip:
Walkers and drivers have 4 or 5 white villages close by.
No costa del fish & chips here, what a blessing.

The city hotel was renovated in 2004 and consists of a 9-storey main building and a 5-storey annexed annexe block with a total of 118 rooms of which 12 are singles, 100 are doubles and 6 are suites. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange facility and a lift. Other facilities include a café, a bar, a TV room, a games room, an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant, a conference room, an Internet terminal as well as a car park and a garage. The hotel additionally offers a room and laundry service for guests. The plush, welcoming rooms are en suite and fitted with a hairdryer. They are equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, Internet access, central heating, a hire safe, a sitting area and a minibar.
“ The room and bathroom was expetional. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choice and the staff were very helpful. The location is great for visiting the bars and reastaurants aroudnt the old town. Will book this hotel again

The Tryp Guadalmar is situated right along the beachfront with fantastic views of the sea, only 2 km from the Plaza Mayor with its many leisure attractions and only 4 km from Malaga airport. Also within easy reach are many golf courses as well as a range of activities including water sports, horse riding, bike rental and excursions. The hotel features an indoor and outdoor pool, Jacuzzi and sauna for guests to unwind in and a restaurant serving international and typical local cuisine. Guest rooms are comfortable and well equipped with modern amenities.
“ Nice and friendly but for a 4 star hotel , you would expect tea and coffee making facilities in the room , and more access to english subtiltes for the movies and tv . Having to go every day to reception for an internet voucher was a pain , also queuing every day to get the car ticket relaeased is a bit much ,

The La Fonda Apartments are located in a quaint, typically white Andalusian village of Benalmadena Pueblo, just 5km from the coast and beaches. “ La Fonda apartment was a really good place to spend our time at the Pueblo. Its location was very close to very lovely restaurants with very cheap food and wine. Also, its location is on top of the mountains so you can go walking the mountains or just taking a 25 mins walk to the beach.
