Harman Hotel

“ We stayed the last week in October which is the last week of the season for the resort. The hotel generally catered for the older traveller and was almost empty this time of the year, (apart from the occasional coach load which only stayed overnight). The rooms didn't have a mini bar or tea making facilities, which we greatly missed. The hotel breakfast consisted of the cold european variety, toast, and coffee from a machine. The rooms were old fashioned but very clean and the bed was comfortable. This hotel would be okay for a very short stay but not for a two week holiday.

“ The hotel is situated off the main road so there are no noise problems. The staff are very helpful and attentive. The breakfast arrangements and variety are some of the best I have had in my many years travelling in Turkey.
The only gripe was that the room could have been swept out on a more regular basis.
We were so happy apart from that, that we have booked again for this September.

“ Top Tip: Take a trip into Fethiye and sample the food at Zekis restaurant.

“ The hotel was very clean and the staff were excellent the only downside was that the aircon in the room was not included in the price so for our two 85 year olds who we booked the hotel for the £110 bill at the end was a bit of a shock,but they still had a great holiday.

“ Top Tip: Calis beach is a hidden gem to stay with sunsets spectacular and plenty of places to eat at a reasonable price.

“ The Harman Hotel is a friendly family run hotel with basic but clean rooms, some have been recently renovated with wet-room showers. air conditioning is an added extra cost but may be worth it in the height of summer. Food is 'local', breakfast is hot/cold drinks, mainly cold food (cheese, salad, bread, cold meats, eggs etc.) but plenty of it with alternate pancakes and omlettes every other day. I had B&B but a buffet dinner was provided every evening at an extra cost. Drinks and snacks were available during day and were not too expensive. The pool area was excellent with plenty of sunbeds and a small shady area. The pool bar was open from early 'til late with good friendly staff and inexpensive (for a hotel) drinks. Beds were hard but surprisingly comfortable.

“ Top Tip: Eat out in the evening, its cheap and good food. Indian (bombay corner) very good, Bella Mama great filet steaks, Mosaic Bache and Megri's in Fethiye both good Turkish food.

A 5 minute walk and you are on main road for bus to Fethiye, 10 minute walk from the hotel will put you in the main street of Calis beach resort with plenty of cheap eateries and tourist shops. Not too frantic but lively enough to be interesting for the groups who like a drink in the evening. Also from here the water taxi leaves every half hour for Fethiye (30 min trip). Over the bridge and you are on the Calis beach seafront with dozens of restaurants to choose from to suit all tastes and pockets.
