"This hotel has a lovely relaxed feel and is 4 star quality without being pretentious. The only thing that disappointed us was the evening buffet; with so many other options close-by, we would recommend eating out."

"Nice room with a lovely sea view. Cleaned well by the chamber maids, who were always helpful and polite. The hotel staff were generally very helpful. We were only B & B but the breakfast facilties and food were excellent. This is our second stay at this hotel and we will possibly book again for september 08."
"Super hotel excellent. But booked it to be inthe centre of Estepona. The map link for the position is miles out. Good comfortable hotel for a few days idle without being out of it. If you have a hire car it is ideal."
"First room was facing the A7 dual carridge had no balcony and you couldn't open window due to traffice noise. Moved the second day to a ground floor room with outside space much better. Meals average very spanish. Beach not good and no where to go of an evening. Hotel is nice but location poor"
"The hotel was excellent, but I suspect that was because only 18 people were staying. We would certainly return for the right deal!! The rooms overlooking the pool are the only ones to have."
"Although it was out of season the heated pool was not open. The sun beds were unavailable to use. The roof top bar was closed. The food was absolutely shocking. The only way this would get to see 4 stars is if you were blind drunk and seeing double. "
"The hotel was very good,. that was the second time we have stayed at the AGH and will be staying again in the future,It is just the location that is a problem you have to have a car. The only thing that I have to moan about was the car hire firm (GOLDCAR) thy rip you of by charging you for the fuel up front and will not allow you to fill up on return, Your are charged 70 euros for the tank but it only holds 55litrs when empty but you cannott juge it right but it will only take about 60 euros to fill from empty so it is the new way to rip you off so I will not be using that firm again ever so no car bookings from me in the future."
"The hotel itself was fabulous if you could pick it up and put it somewhere else. The location is a little remote if you do not have a hire car. Breakfast was fantastic but the evening meal was not the greatest (not many in the hotel when we stayed so it was a 'a la carte' menu rather than the usual buffet which we were told by other guests was not great either). "

"The hotel and pool area were extremely quiet, which made for the most perfect peaceful and relaxing holiday. The staff were always pleasant and very helpful. The bedroom/living space and bathroom we had were incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean at all times, little touches like towelling dressing gowns in the room really added to the very special feeling of the hotel - we would not hesitate to return to this hotel again."
"Enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the only problem appeared to be a bad smell from the toilet at certain points of the day. We stayed in the studio's which were very spacious."

"We were sceptical about the AGH after reading one or two poor reviews but had no complaints whatsoever. We had a very nice room and would certainly stay again. The buffet dinner wasn't bad but not great so we would probably suggest going on a B & B basis and then eating out at night."
"We had a 2 centre hotel stay - the other hotel El Paraiso Estepona was also excellent we have stayed at the Paraiso on a number of occasions so knew it would be OK. The AGH was a totally different kind of hotel- but first class on the whole, the food in the AGH was excellent (especially the prawns!) the only let down for myself was the spa, some of the facilities were not working and the staff were not particularly welcoming or helpful - I understand about the language barrier but they could have been more friendly and enthusiatic, I had one treatment during my stay but if the experience had been more enjoyable I would have had at least one more. Overall the hotels were very good and we enjoyed our stay and would definately recommend the hotels and Travel Republic."
"Myself and my parnter took our 8 month old baby here and were really worried after reading some of the reviews on Trip Advisor however we have found this hotel to be extremely friendly and the room we had was lovely - it was a studio. We had a car and visited Marbella, Puerto Banus and Estepona all of which were 15 mins away. Estepona is a lovely beach for children with plenty of play equipment along the promenade. Although people we met found the bus service very good i think after a while it may get a little tiresome. Food was really nice and we found the variety good. I would definately go back. "

"Very nice, clean hotel. Basic food in evening but something for everybody. Very good value for money for a 4 star hotel as we only had a basic room which was better than expected. Would recommend it and would go again."

"Beautiful clean hotel. We upgraded to a very nice room with beautiful views and balcony overlooking the sea. However food not worth upgrading to half board as it was cooked and left out hot for the entire duration of the 3 hour evening meal time slot, not nice at all. Plenty of very good restaurants within walking distance. We would be quite happy to return."
"We found the hotel ok but it was no way a 5 star hotel.Our room was fine but the food let the hotel down.The food was awful soup was lukewarm hot food in the evening was dreadful and ended up eating out for 5 nights.There was nothing to do in the evenings entertainment was nothing! We would never go back and were very disapointed."
