"The hotel is geared for groups of guest from Holland who get all the sea view rooms. The food at times was passable and at times quite poor even for a 3 star with a poor selection, badly cooked and only a full selection at the end of the session. The rooms were cleaned every day. The hotel is in good order and well decorated, the beach is across the road accessed via frequent under passes. The hotel is situated on the corner of the beach road and the main street which makes everything easy to accesses. The town is quite. The beach is very close but has what is coarse builders sand and the water is deep. The hotel swimming pool is very very small and pointlessly deep at one end to 2.2 meter (7 feet) for such a small pool. "
Top Tip:
"The railway station is just 100 meters up the road and ideal for exploring the cost with Barcelona just 1 hour away and cost just 6.40 euros return. "

"The swimming pool area gets no sun all day therefore pool always cold. Not a lot to do in Pineda de Mar"
Top Tip:
"Visit the next resort Santa Susanna there is plenty to do and is only 7mins in train which the train station is right outside Aqua Promenade Hotel."

"Hotel was spotlessly clean, and very well located - a one minute walk to the beach using a subway - cleaned every Friday! The meals were buffet style with a really wide choice, all of wonderful quality. The only thing served that didn't suit my palate was a beefburger. The hotel bar was good value, prices were on a par with the other local bars. The entertainment was fine, the Brazilian night dancers were somewhat 'exotic'"
Top Tip:
"The railway station - two minutes walk away. We had a trip to Barcelona for less than 7 Euro's. The station at 'Barca' for us tourists is Placa de Catalunya, right in the middle of the city, and the train is direct. However, don't be slow getting on or off the trains as they don't wait."

"The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. We arrived late evening just 10 minutes before the restaurant was closing but the reception staff checked us in very quickly and held our luggage so that we could have something to eat. The food (buffet) in the restaurant was lovely and even though on the first night we ate just before it closed, they were replenishing the food in the buffet even after the restaurant should have closed at 9.00 pm."
Top Tip:
"The hotel is superbly situated for the train into Barcelona. It's only a 5 minute walk to the train station and the train to Barcelona is fantastic - only 5 euros for a return ticket. Well worth a trip. "
