Property Summary
Location
Studio apartments are smaller and more compact that the larger 1 bedroom apartments. Each room is between 20 & 22 sqm which is equal to a comfortable single room or small double hotel room. They come furnished as a complete habitat with small kictchenette, comfortable bed, work desk, cable TV and ensuite bathroom. All are fully furnished in a manner that intends to make them as effective for living in, as they are for working in. All rooms are furnished with parquet floors and are centrally air-conditioned and heated.
A stylish seating area adjoining the lobby provides a comfortable environment in which to collect and eat the enjoyable breakfast buffet which is served daily.
The exterior of the apartment building is contemporary and modern.
The building consists of 182 apartments, 110 studios and 72 one bedroom apartments. Built in 1961 and renovated in 2000, it is totally self contained with its own 24-hour reception area. The residence is the highest building in Alvik and commands superb views over Kungsholmen and southern Stockholm. Its position at Tranebergs Plan means that it is a stone's throw from all of Alvik's major amenities including hair salon, Konsum supermarket, newsagents, dry cleaners, and chemist. More shops can be found opposite the underground station in Alviks Torg, a smaller self-contained shopping precinct which includes a McDonalds restaurant, Post Office and large ICA supermarket. The area is also unique in that it has its own domestic airport. For the main Arlanda airport however, direct buses leave regularly from nearby Brommaplan. TO10/08
