"Wonderful site / views. Good facilities and rooms. Helpful staff, particularly reception staff.

Food was poor. Unimaginative. At the end of the season, the same dishes appeared time after time. For example, beetroot, which I like, was put out for several meals and then appeared as beetroot in mayonnaise. Oxtail soup, which was good, appeared the next night with some carrots in it as vegetable soup. When the coffee ran out, which it often did, staff made no attempt to refill the coffee urn, and were quite indifferent to the needs of the guests."
Top Tip:
"I recommend a visit to Skala Sikaminias on the north coast. Interesting fishing port, interesting small church on a rock, craft shops with original and unusual items."
