"The check in/out process at the hotel was very smooth and efficient and the staff were polite and helpful with a good knowledge of english. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean both inside and outside. The only downside was that none of the rooms had air conditioning. We stayed half board at the Aguamar and the food was of a reasonable standard but found the evening meals to be only moderately warm instead of hot which was a little disappointing, however there was a microwave on hand if you needed it! The breaksfast buffet was great though and we couldnt fault it. The pool area was cleaned daily each morning and there was a lifegaurd on hand all day. Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay at the Aguamar and we choose it if we go to Tenerife again in the future."

"Been back 2 days and had a brilliant time went with my partner and we are both in our mid 20s. hotel was very nice no entertainment at all but if your looking for somewhere that has a great pool and lovely accomodation then this is the place to go. All staff are very helpful and nice. All rooms are smoking and pool view. towels are changed everyday bar wed and thurs and the beds are made also. The weather was brilliant 32 degrees. the beach and town centre is about 10 mins walk away you dont notice it when your looking about at stuff. advise to go on a boat trip, we went on the bahrelli, paid 32 euros each for 3hrs with food also, which was really nice.saw loads of dolphins and the scenery is picture perfect. you also go to a laggoon where you get to jump into the sea and swim which is amazing...what an experience. the beach is ok been to better beaches like. near the beach down the main straight there is a chinese buffet restaurant, dont remember what its called but its overlooking the beach above a arcade its 7.50 euros each all you can eat...was beautiful. look out for the jingles and the hair braid bunch...there cons. but overall its brilliant"
"We had a lovely stay aguamar was a great hotel only had bed and breakfast but that was really good rooms cleaned daily was surprised to find kitchen facilities in every room breakfast a vast veriety good location 10 min walk into town but bars opposite hotel and only 5 min taxi ride to las americanos. taxis cheap lots to do many many resterants had a great time would definatly go back."

"The Aguamar is clean and basic, it suffers from noise from the local bars until the early hours of the morning, only a problem if you are a light sleeper. The maids are really good, if you want them to clean they do an excellent job, if you want them just to leave you alone so you can sleep in they do. The reception staff are okay, some are friendly some not so friendly but all are efficient. Location wise it is up a bit of a hill so no good if you find walking difficult. Plenty of bars and restaurants locally and it is close to the bus staion so you can easily get around the whole island. We have been 3 times and the noise is the only real issue, I sleep heavily so this is not a problem for me but I know it is for others."
"This is the third time we have stayed at this Hotel it's in a lovely location, rooms nice and clean and you are only about 20 min walk from the centre of Los Cristianos. Always a welcome at the Smile's Bar across the road. Recommended and will definately return in the future."
"The apartment itself was very clean and spacious and we were very happy. However the only problem we did experience was that our room was right next to the main road and it was extremely noisy all night from the traffic on the road and also the nearly bars. We kept getting woken up every hour or so. We only ate at the hotel once and it was not very good. Better to go into town."

"Apartments were great, very clean, towels & linen changed regularly. the only critism we have was that there was no music around the pool & nobody promoted the facilities that were available at the apartments. also we found that the bar was expensive for drinks. Other than that the stay was great & we would definately recommend staying there."
"We did really enjoy our stay at the aguamar apts. Unfortunately, we did think our room was smaller than we had been expecting, plus we were told it was a pool view, but was not. Apart from this we really liked it."
"The apartments were kept clean and fresh towels provided. The apartments were sutitable for our holiday. We didn't stay in to eat so i couldn't comment on what it would be like to cook in as wellbut on looking through the cupboards they have a number of utensils. La Vistas beach far end (nearer to playas, very nice beach, located round from the harbour) is a 25 min walk from the apartments. Theres no real places to eat out near to the apartment so we tened to go to restauants near the beach or on the way back from the beach. The bars opposite the apartment can get a bit noisey but finish at 12am. We never used the pool so can't comment. The soft play area was a good idea but none of the pieces of furniture were set up while we were there, which was a bit disappointing. The staff are friendly and helpful "

"The hotel had good facilities although we didn't use the pool because we walked to the beach each day. Excellent facilities for young children with an outside play area and an inside soft play room The rooms were very well decorated and well equipped with a toaster, coffee maker, kettle and TV, which was payable locally with euro coins. Good location, about 15 mins walk into the centre of Los Cristianos and another 10 to La Vista beach which was very enjoyable but might be hard work in the summer. The only bad points were the lack of air conditioning (the room was very very hot in November so I would dread to think what its like in the summer and it cost 17 euros to hire a fan for 7 nts) and the cleaning service which was about the worst I have ever had. There were 3 dead cockroaches in the back of the bin cupboard when we arrived and they stayed there for about the next 7 days. The apartment was hardly cleaned at all and I ended up doing most of it myself. Had the apartment not have been so nice we wouldn't stay there again. "

"Clean, well maintained hotel. Staff very helpful. Our apartment was well equipped. Beds had thick firm mattresses. Only criticism would be the lack of implementation of the rules stating that no children under 18 are allowed unaccompanied on the jacuzzi sun terrace, and no children under 18 allowed in the jacuzzi."

"Was obviously kept to high standards or newly refurbished. We all had a really good stay. The only little things were the TV was operated by slot machine and there was no air conditioning. Apart from that very nice. Would definitely stay there again."
