"Very clean room. No kettle but a strange jug affair to use on the stove!! Stayed on top floor so little noise from other guests. Within easy reach of beach and food. Would go back for sure!"

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. A very comfortable hotel but with the added convenience of a kitchen/fridge in the room. Breadfast was reasonable but had machine coffee so we had our own on our balcony. Very central for beach and restaurants and with a good clean pool."

"We stayed in these apartments for 5 nights. The apartments were quite basic but clean and comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English."

"Hotel Alba is very basic and our first room was so awful we asked to be moved. Second room was lovely and worth the money. Maid service is daily and they make your bed for you, such luxury. They do need more equipment in the kitchen area - no kettle, microwave etc, just two rings and a fridge! Reception staff very nice too. Very close to beach."

"the ALBA HOTEL where we stayed was very basic, had no bar or service facility if you wanted to have a cup of coffee or a drink you had to fetch someone from their reception duties t come and get it for you whcih was disappointing as the weather when we were there was not too good a couple of days of rain which if the hotel had good facilities we would have been quite happy to spend time and relax in it but because of lack of facilities this was not feasible so it is a hotel we would not return to in the future the only good thing was the fact that the rooms were clean and the linen and towels were changed regularly."

"Brilliant price, very very clean, the room was done everyday. The staff were very helpful and polite and we would go there again with no qualms. The pool was cleaned while we were there, the whole hotel is very very clean. The rooms had the basic kitchen, there wasnt a toaster or a kettle in the unit, but we didn't ask for one so don't know if they are available on request or not. Its not the end of the world, water can be heated in a saucepan! Very very good standard"

"Location was ok for us but no views of beach or anything exciting. Unfortunately the hotel was very noisy - doors banging, people moving & talking, etc, taffic outside & dogs barking at stupid times. Also, the fridge in the room was extremely noisy, I did defrost it but it still made a racket! Luckily we only stayed 4 nights and then went to Albufeira."

"JUST RETURNED FROM THIS RESORT THE HOTEL IS VERY CLEAN AND THE STAFF ARE VERY FREINDLY WE WERE SELF CATERING BUT IF YOU WISHED YOU COULD HAVE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST OR EVENING MEAL AT EXTRA COST THIS IS OUR SECOND VISIT TO THE HOTEL AND AS MY HUSBAND IS DISABLED THE HOTEL IS DISABLED FRIENDLY WHICH IS A BONUS "

"All the self catering apartments are on the ground floor. You are overlooked by people on the road or people walking in to the hotel. Sitting on the balcony is a no no!"
