"hotel was what we expected. clean and comfortable. only thing i would say is breakfast. knew it was limited to cereal and roll and croissant, but rolls were that hard some days could not eat them. croissants were also not fresh and not edible. nice coffee. receptionsist were helpful and pleasant."

"hotel recommended a somewhere to eat that was fab."

"Hotel very central for all the main attractions in Florence. I would recommend Trattoria Anita a great place for a meal with very friendly and helpful staff."

"Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Only gripe would be about the foam mattress, not particularly comfortable. "
Top Tip:
"Pre book your visit to the Uffizi. Also, coach from Pisa Airport to Florence takes approx 1hr 30 mins, not the advertised 50 mins. Tickets should be purchased from the Bar across the road from the station (down the steps and across the road)"

Hotel Details - Albergo Firenze Hotel

One of the best characteristics of this hotel is its position - right in the heart of the busy centre of Florence's shopping streets, just minutes from the Duomo and yet tucked away in a little courtyard to shield it from the bustle of this delightful area of the city. The hotel has a surprisingly spacious reception area, pleasant breakfast room and a cosy lounge area where guests can relax and take a break from shopping! Bedrooms are simple but well maintained and comfortable.

Airport:
Bus direct from either Florence or Pisa airport (or from Pisa train directly from airport) cost approx. 6 euro. Then approx. 10 min walk from station. Taxi direct from Florence airport approx. 30 euro (c. 30mins).

Parking:
A valet service is available at a cost of 30 eur/day

Hotel is approx. ten min walk to the train station where guests can also find the bus station.

Centre of Florence including the Duomo, Uffizi etc. Shops, bars and restaurants.
