"Good hotel (for the price!), with excellent sea views and decent rooms, although take note that there's only sofa beds which aren't very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff though and good location only five minutes from the old town square. Bit of a hill to get back at night though, especially after a couple of cervezas!"

"Beautifull view from apartment which was basic but clean and gardens neatly kept. We were out of season so not much was going on. Lots of steps and big hill to town."

"Lovely setting, small complex, near the strip and oura beach but far enough away from all the noise."

"you get what u pay for at these apartments well worth the money staff nice enough maids cleaned room every day except on sundays entertaintment was karoke nearly everynight or a man singing but didnt pay much for my holiday so didnt mind i would definitly go back to these apartments"

"The apartment was a good size, but we were right next to the Casa de Cerro Night Club, although if you sleep in the back, you cannot hear it. The complex itself is great, and the cleaners are lovely, but just a little too far off the beaten track, we walked down to the centre, but had to either bus or taxi it back up. Must say though have never had to pay for mattresses on the sun loungers by the pool!! Anyway, not for people with prams or with walking difficulties. But great if you're a good walker!!"

"A great hotel with lots of facilities and a great pool.
Only a 10 minute walk to the old town, but it does have a steep hill to climb back up to the hotel. Fine if you are fit and healthy but not ideal for the elderly.
The resort is fantastic but drinks have increased in price a lot in the last year. Good food which is value for money though.
If you are happy with a clean hotel with fresh sheets and towels daily and dont mind a bit of a walk you will love this place."

"On our arrival we realised it was a studio that we had booked .We asked at reception for a 1 bedroom apartment and we were given at a extra cost. Which was a lot better than the studio which was very far from the reception. I would go back to these apartments again. Cleaned everyday. And would love the same apartment overlooking the sea. Ideal to go to the old town and beach. Pleanty of bars and restaurants."

"Very clean apartment and well maintained in terms of bed linen, towels and general cleanliness. Restaurant staff very helpful and friendly. We would certainly consider having another holiday at this location."

"We had a lovely room overlooking the pool in Block A4 however there were other blocks that were quite some distance away making it a very long walk back from the pool not to mention the square. The decor of the rooms were quite dated but for the very reasonable price you pay to stay at this hotel you cannot complain. We ate quite a few times from the snack bar and the staff were really nice as well as the food. It's a nice walk down to the square but a little harder getting back up."

"Nice small complex, freindly staff and good snacks and bar service. Pools cloudy but clean. Not a good location unless you have transport but a good relaxing base, short drive to Albufeira and Villamora. kitchen utensils basic, no toaster or electric kettle. We bought them from Tesco and took them with us, best £8.00 i ever spent, we passed them on to other guests when we left."

"Booked via Travel Republic again: xfers etc all fine and pick-up on time. This was our 2nd visit to Albufeira Jardim Turisticos Apartments, which is just a bit closer to the Old Town than Jardim 2.
Room fine, if a little tired. Take the covers off the settee, which are twin beds & pull round to make a permanent double bed. There's only a heater for hot water, so plan your showers! Pool area nice & very spacious. Food very good quality.
The apartments stretch out over the hillside & then you have a pleasent 10min walk down through narrow streets & find yourself in the modern main square of the Old Town with lots of shops & boutiques. Carry on along & you hit the soft sandy beach, with loungers.
It's all very nice, clean & a cut above.
There was a festival on both weekends we were there so there's always something to do. Plenty of nice restaurants, including Cabana Fresco overlooking the beach & Asian fusion at Za Za's in the square. Good live bands at the 'Bank' and 'Rock Cafe'.
Again, we didn't venture up to 'The Strip' as enough to occupy us in the Old Town. Weather superb, but cool in the evenings. No evidence of mozzies."

"apartments a bit run down
noisy"

"Basic apartments but suitable for our purposes although the beds are extremely hard. Staff very helpful and hardworking. Situated on a hill but no problem for us and you did get a fantastic view because of the position."

"We chose the location because of it's proximity to the old town of Albufeira - the square and bars were only a short walk away down hill and an even shorter taxi ride back! The self catering rooms were basic but clean and had enough equipment for families on a budget who did not wish to eat out every day."

"Accomodation was very basic. upon arrival at 12.00 midday, we were informed that our room wasn't ready and would be at approx 2.00pm. we eventually got into our room at 4.30pm so we basically had to grab what we could from our cases and put them into staorage and hung about for nearly 5 hours. we had a ground floor room with its only access through the patio doors. maids came daily and towells were changed twice. positives to the ground floor room was that is was very close to the pool and restaurant and fewer steps than the other rooms. i would rate the room as being average and what to expect for the price you pay."

"lots of steps not suitable for the less able.rooms nice and clean."

"This apartments are reasonably price and ok as long as you have the attitude "you get what you pay for!". The room was dated and in need of refurbishment but was clean. The biggest draw back is that it is situtated up a hill so getting back from the the beach and/or old town is a bit of a hike (especially if you are in one of the blocks A2 and A3 as these are higher still)."

"What an absolutely fantastic holiday we had. Apartments were fabulous, very clean and only 10 minutes from the Old Town square but far away enough for quiteness, especially when it was bedtime. Apartments were set in lovely gardens, staff were more than helpful and the complex had everything, Apartments were spotlessly clean and linen and towels changed twice in the week we were there. We flew with Easyjet and that just went perfectly, no late take offs from either end, and we also booked our airport transfers through travel republic - it was with Via Directa- and that went as smooth as clockwork. All in all would most defianately go to these apartments again."
