"Our second time staying at this hotel, which has got good facilities in terms of pools and entertainment. However we found this time that our room was cramped, family of 4 in one room, there wasn't a great choice of food to our liking in the evenings, we chose to eat out most nights. Staff were lovely, hotel was clean. Would choose to go self catering next time."

"A thoroughly enjoyable holiday on an island we know reasonably well. The Hotel Alcudia is a perfectly positioned base for the nearby beach, restaurants, shops and bars. A relatively small pool area, but in comparison to other hotels in the vicinity, well above average. Outdoor hotel space in the Port of Alcudia appears to be hard to come by. Travelling with our young family, the Hotel Alcudia easily met all of our requirements offering half board facilities at self catering prices."

"We were very disappointed with our room, which was small and dark, and looked out onto a busy, main road. There was barely enough room to move around in it and it was not comforting to return to. We were equally diappointed with the size of the swimming pool, which was clearly too small for this large hotel -at times there was just a sea of bodies in it, and it was very dangerous for younger children. No supervision of the pool meant larger children could, and did, act very boisterously. Hotel meals were very basic and borderline school dinners. On a positive note the staff were all quite friendly. This hotel persuaded us nevr to book 3star accommodation again."

"Lovely Hotel, pleasant staff and generally very clean I must say. I would give this hotel a four star rather than 3 star. Only down side I found was the mini club not being in function as I'd hoped, and the food in the evenings were generally the same each night, good food but same menu."

"The Hotel is in a good position close to the beach and Marina. The staff are friendly, helpfull and quick to sort out any problems. e.g. The Hairdryer in the room stopped working and after reporting this it was replaced straight away."

"The Alcudia Hotel is in a great position, only 5 mins walk from the beach. The hotel was very clean, the rooms cleaned on a daily basis. I believe the hotel rated more of a 2+ star instead of a 3 star due to lack of space in the room and balcony and also there being no tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel catered well for breakfast and dinner and had a good choice of foods, sadly it wasn't very Spanish, retaining a more 'canteen style' approach to food. It was quite noisy in the hotel, the room's walls tended to be paper-thin. "

"This hotel is NOT adult friendly. Unless you have 2 or 3 children in tow and suffer (or are blessed) with parental deafness, do not choose this particular hotel. The hotel itself is very nice, but the 'child noise' begins at 8am and was still going on at 2am. It's bedlam!! We found the food to be plentiful, varied and of a good standard, compared with many Med. hotels. I think the people who commented previously about the poor food, probably prefer McDonalds. The only down side, was the length of time spent queueing at each counter. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was cleaned every day. (including fresh towels) I would visit this hotel again, but NOT during school holidays. "

"Hotel was clean, staff friendly but food was of poor quality. Our room was at the front and next to the road which was very noisy all night. Also rooms were cold and everyone was complaining to be told every day that it would be fixed the next day. "

"There was ample free parking opposite the hotel and the location was perfect: 5 mins to the beach and 5 mins to the marina with a wide choice of restaurants. Staff were friendly, breakfast in particular was excellent with so much choice, amazing value for money."

"The cleanliness in the bedroom, hallway and corridors was quite bad. The corridors had not been vacuumed for a long time, certainly not while we were there. We had to clean the bathroom before we were happy to use it and the stairs and ledges were covered in dust etc. Also guests were allowed to create a great deal of noise up until at least 2am. Dining room, bar staff and cleaners very friendly. Plenty of food on offer. Clean swimming pool."

"My wife and I have stayed at this hotel 5 times over a period of 3yrs the staff are friendly and helpfull the food is typical spanish hotel food if this is not to your likeing there are plenty english bars around that serve chips with everything.The resort is clean and tidy excellent beaches and no rowdy night life, Over all the hotel is value for money"
