"oasis park zoo is worth a visit and there was a free bus from the hotel to take you there and drop you back off or taxi would cost you about 20 euros each way"

stuart from crawley reviewed the Ambar Beach Resort and Spa Hotel
"The hotel was spotless and clean, good range of food, outdoor pools a little chilly but great once you actually brave getting in! Owned by Germans and mainly German guests but a few Brits as well and overall that a good thing as all very peaceful and traquil with no rowdy drunken Brits about. About a 10/15 min walk to/from beach which is a fairly steep path but ok if you just stroll it or there is a bus from outside hotel to beach,we booked a sea view and our room didn't have one which night shift staff said was impozzible to change for our first night but morning staff changed with no prob the next day.Overall a fab hotel and would definately go back again."
Top Tip:
"Hired a car and turned right out of hotel about 10mins drive from main road view of a stunning beach which we drove down to - think it called Butihondo - and it really stunning, one casual little beach cafe and windsurf/surf hire etc + a elderly nudist in just his white beach hat! and amazing sand dunes. Also drove out into the mountains/hills found a pull in at the top of one in the middle of nowhere and the silence was amazing not a sound to be heard....very eerie."

"Plenty to eat & drink, but can get a bit repetitive.
The room was clean well built & well equipped
The pools & sauna were great
The reception staff were freindly & helpful.
Overall a very nice place to stay."
Top Tip:
"Do not be put off by the steep walk down to the beach. You are only 5 minutes from a naturist paradise with over 2 hours of beach walking both left and right"

"the rooms were fine good size and plenty of storage room however watch out for the mossies. the food was about the poorest we had ever had at any hotel we had stayed at, the choice of meats was poor although if you like fish there was a good selection. long walk to the beach and a little to out of the way you could walk into jandia but it took about an hour or 5 euros by cab. pools were fine if a little cold indoor pool was like having a bath. would i stay again? no."

Julian from Stockport reviewed the Ambar Beach Resort and Spa Hotel
"Very friendly, very helpful. Clean, quiet, very polite staff - go out of the way to be nice to small children.
Meal time facilities for small children are poor, food not really catering for the English. Need more play toys / area for toddlers and smaller children. Fantastic though, sad to leave, would go back again."
