"Fantastic Hotel centrally placed for shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Also trams & rail very handy. Great choice for breakfast-both hot & cold. Rooms very clean & modern with all necessities. Staff friendly & helpful. Altogether a very enjoyable stay."
Top Tip:
"Quite a few good eating places in the main square approx 5 mins walk from hotel. The horses & carriages in the square are marvellous to look at & even better to ride on.An absolute must do is the trip to Auschwitz-harrowing but necessary in the context of never forgetting what was perpetrated by an evil regime. "A wonderful stay. A modern and contemporary hotel ideally located opposite the main train station- which is great for the train from the airport. All staff were most welcoming and were very accommodating of our 18 month old daughter. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Had a three course meal in restaurant one night which was of a very high quality- but perhaps expensive to eat there every night. There was a nice relaxing bar which did paninis. Also, whilst we were there there did happy hour and provided free finger food- good quality buffet on the bar including salmon filo rolls, flat breads, foccacias etc. Ordered room service there the first night as our plane had been delayed- they wheeled in a table with napkins, bread and our meals were prsented with the silver covers. Room spec was to a high standard and our daughter loved the bathroom- very contemporary and a nice large bath in which to luxuriate as well as a walk in shower. Very impressed with reception staff who had to order me a doctor the one day- arrived within the hour!!! Everything was within walking distance of the hotel- the walk to the old part took 5-10 min( bearing in mind that we had a toddler!!!). We thought the hotel andits amenities were excellent value for the money. We would definitely return if we visited Krakow again!"
Top Tip:
"Right next to the hotel is a new shopping centre- Galeria Krakowski. Loads of modern shops and boutiques and a food hall on the middle level- I think- which is great for cheap fast food as an alternative for the hotel food- fast food not necessarily junk food- there was Subway, kebabs, a lovely Pasta and salad section as well as McD and KFC. I think a huge bowl of pasta with choice of sauce came to about £3. In the main square there is plethora of cafes and restaurants- some of which look very unassuming from outside but the ones we tried served excellent polish food. "From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were treated excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. We asked about a late check out and they gave us till 5pm with no additional charge. The hotel is immaculately clean, modern and pays attention to detail. The bedroom was spotless and the maid did an excellent job each day. The flat screen wall mounted tv with dvd comes in handy for those days when you just need to chill out for a few hours ( we took our own dvd's). If I had to make some negative comment it would be that the drinks in the bar are on the pricey side - and the breakfast buffet whilst caters for every taste and is amongst the best I have ever seen. I found the hot food to be only warm ( I have a thing about my food being piping hot). Apart from that the quality of service and the price, couldn't believe it was such a cheap holiday for what we got. I certainly wouldn't hesitate in going again in fact I would stay in any Andels hotels again if this is the standard they aspire to. THANKS AGAIN TRAVEL REPUBLIC FOR MAKING OUR TRIP SO WONDERFUL AND EASY TO BOOK."

"This is a superb hotel right beside the railway station, one of Polands biggest shopping malls and the main shopping area. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. Breakfast was outstanding in choice and quality."

"The Andels hotel was excellent in every respect. Great location, 10 mins walk from the Old Town square, very clean, superb breakfast buffet, friendly bar and reception staff. Would have no hesitation staying there again."

"Krakow, lovely city, easy to walk around. Andels Hotel, modern hotel in ideal location. Opposite rail station, 5 minute walk to the old town. Rooms rather small, but adequate for two (and clean). Would definitely use again. "
