"we arrived at the bali hotel at 9.30pm,by 9.40 we were in our rooms great checking the room was basic but very clean.we asked for extra pillows and were given them straight away.the view from yhe balcony was stunning mountains, sea and the marina at benalmadena.all the hotel staff from reception bar staff, animation to the cleaners were very freindly. oh and by the way the weather was great.we stayed at the bali four years ago and it was the same then thats why we picked this hotel."
Top Tip:
"plenty of bars nearby the only draw back was the climb back up angina hill back to the hotel.we have spent a lot of time in the area so we know all shortcuts back to the hotel"
"went self catering and the room was only cleaned once all week.we had to ask for clean towels and toilet rolls.very poor for what we paid.could have had a a better hotel for cheaper"
"bali studio was fantastic , recently refurbed .... v clean , overall great..."
Top Tip:
"go down cardiac hill halfway way turn left to the square of pubs go to the end a little pub called lillie langtrys ... they wack out a super pint at 70 cent yes 70 cent

Top Tip:

"Great food with plenty of choice.Waiters and desk staff very friendly.Hotel rooms tired and a bit ran down but food makes up for it. Rooms quite large.Situated in the middle of a short but steep bank.Definately not for hard of walking or wheel chairs.Going to the beach is easy but getting back needs 2 pit stops plenty of 1 euro a pint places at bottom of hill.On the beach 2 beds and a brolly total cost 8 euros. The beds have thick mattresses aswell so its not bad compared to some places.A great all round holiday.First time here going back next year."
Top Tip:
"Up from hotel is the Bonanza and Elifance both have copy turns on quite good.Down is Mr Pickwicks for bingo and quizes this is a friendly pub even though i hate bingo.Over the road from Pickwicks are the euro a pint pubs these also are very friendly.Enjoy. "
"the hotel was clean, food very good, service excellent but it was very noisy during the night with doors constantly banging and people shouting. Big gangs on hen and stag parties and a very large group of travelling students spoilt our holiday and in my opinion should not be mixed with normal holiday makers in the same hotels. we will not be going back to the hotel bali. "
Top Tip:
"try the albatross bar across the road or pickwicks at the bottom of the hill both are very welcoming."
"I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The room was clean when we arrived and cleaned every day with towel change. It was in a central location which was what we wanted even though due to hill would not be suitable for older travellers or the disabled. We did not actually stay for the entertainment or use the bar so cannot comment but there always seemed a lot of people in the bar with lots of children. The only downside was not that impressed with the food but as only stayed for a few days and prefer self catering did not cause any problem. Would recommend."
"The accomodation was very reasonable and comfortable, the appartments were clean and well kept. Some areas of the hotel were slightly tatty, but overall the living accomodation was good.
Tahnk you travel republic for making the holiday so easy too book!"
Top Tip:
"Venture down to the puerta and explore all the avenues, lots of bars and resuarants . Visit the Ice Bar, take a dolphin trip and explore the old town. Dont always rely on the tatty 24 hour square."
"We enjoyed the hotel very much, however the food choice was disappointing but this wouldn't stop us using the hotel again. We would recommend it to other families but not to anyone with walking difficulties as it is at the top of a very steep road from the beach."
"Hotel was in a perfect location right on the beach , breakfast was excellent, only problem was the air conditioning was not on, when i enquired about this was told it was still the winter and it was the heating that was on. the room was very hot during the night and i found it impossible to sleep. i had booked and paid for a twin room for single use and was given a single room which would have been ok if the air conditioning had been on. i asked to be moved to a bigger room as it was quite claustrophobic with the heat and was told as i was only 1 person i wasn't getting moved, Normally i would have argued the point and i did show my booking but he was not having any of it. As i was only staying 5 nights i suffered it and have to say the rest of the staff were very nice.

Richard Gordon from Llanelli reviewed the Bali Hotel
"We still reckon The Bali Hotel is the one to beat, especially the food and staff, but we have noticed a deterioration in the rooms in that they are beginning to look a little worn, tired and in need of brightening up. However, for the price, there is no better value. We have booked again! Need I say more?
Mr. R.G.Jones."
"just had a great holiday with a group of 35 blokes who all were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the hotel and food . No complaints whatsoever even the staff managed not to fall out with us and thats saying something !

"Nice (large) hotel, clean well decorated, rooms ample sized and clean. Staff helpful and pleasant. Food is excellent def **** depite it's 3 * rating. Staff in the diner, boy did they work well.
Down side is only 2 x 6 persons lifts and 7 floors in the main building, if you don't like a long wait it's a hike up and down at busy times. Was a bit windy on a couple of nights and the number of banging doors! incredible never heard anything like it. Night entertainment not hugely great but adequate and better than some (well if you can stand a bingo starter every night, free though).
Talking of hikes, it's all downhill to the seafront, and what a hill, remembering it's uphill all the way back at night."
"The hotel is in a very central location close to the beach and main amenities. Standard of food and service was generally very good - they are going through a period of modernisation with rooms being refitted which mean't that there was an increase in noise levels from the builders. The hotel is very popular with the older spanish tourist."
Top Tip:
"Paloma park only 5 minutes walk from the hotel has an assortment of animals roaming around freely is a lovely place to walk around with the family."
"great hotel but it my take a wile to find your way around, food is great, pool was clean , but the one problem is the way back from the beach, there is loads of steps from the beach to the main road then a steep hill to the hotel that we called cardiac hill. apart from that it was a very nice place to go on hoiday"
"the studio apt we stayed in was very nice loads of room and clean it was on two levels the view was very good looking out to the pool area and the sea from the balcony the staff were very help full at all times when needed the food in the hotel was excellent a very good assortment of English and Spanish food "
Top Tip:
"go to the bees knees local pub at the bottom of the road where you find a good friendly night or day atmosfear all so good local beer and food with mike"
