"We stayed 5 nights at this hotel and overall, had a great time. The area is really quiet with only a few shops and a really nice beach. We stayed on an all inclusive basis which was well worth it as we easily drank enough san miguel to compensate for the difference in cost! The food was very similar each day which was ok for 5 days but couldn't have eaten there for a fortnight. The quality of the food was great, plenty of selection and it was always fresh and hot. Staff, (particularly bar staff) were really friendly and always helpful. Rooms were small but really clean and well air conditioned which is definately needed for the middle of August. Overall, we really enjoyed this holiday and would stay there again. "
"I wanted a quiet holiday away from the crowd in St Antonio Bay. Barcelo Hotel proved to be the place I wanted for a holiday. Food was plentiful and good (fish is always on the menu everyday). Entertainment was ok with shows for the family and children. Staff were always helpful. As for the room itself, it's basic but clean. Tap water taste a bit salty, it's cheap to buy bottled water from the shops around. Overall, had a great stay, would not hesitate to get the next flight back there."
