"We were to stay in the Bossa Park Complex Hotel but were transferred on arrival to the Algarb Hotel. We were all inclusive but unable to get a snack on arrival at 9.00 as all food had ceased. All inclusive was too much as much of the food offered for breakfast and for lunch was often recycled for the evening meal. No tea or coffee available in the dining room after breakfast. The snacks (advertised as hamburgers and bar snacks) were sandwiches.
There was a fire in the hotel on the night before we went home and only for other guests alerting us we would not have been aware as the fire alarm had been switched off."

"We stayed in Algarb hotel as when we arrived the Bosa Parek hotel was flooded so we were moved, The Algarb was very nice and seemed a bigger better hotel and closer to the beach so we did not mind. One fo the bar staff was very unhelpfull and rude howev er teh rest of teh staff were nice. We only stayed for three days, I think if we had been any longer we may have got bored of the all inclusive food due to limited variety."

"Clean, cleaned daily. Deposit required for TV and Air Con remote control is a pain as you leave with useless Euros"

"We booked into the Bossa Park hotel but on arrival we were moved to the Mare Nostrum which in fact was a nicer hotel with a three * rating. Very clean, rooms a little small, but for people going merely to party it was perfect. Only improvement perhaps could have been the inclusion of a fridge, but we only slept there so it wasn't too much of a problem."

"Booked at the Bossa Park Hotel but when arrived we were told there was a problem with water in one of the blocks and we could not have a room and had to be moved to another hotel. Unfortunately the hotel we were moved to was the Tivoli Apartmentos and is not really a hotel. The room was very basic, although clean, and the food was very poor. It was also very noisy during the night as the place is more suited to young people coming and going to the clubs and did not have any appreciation of anyone else in the building. The Hotel reception was very helpful but could not really do anything about the noise. They did manage to sort out the food situation by alowing us to visit a nearby hotel for meals although we could not be moved there as it was full."

"Very geared for Italian visitors. The daily entertainement was all in Italian. However, we did not stay in the hotel for the entertainment but to be close to the beach and the amenities which this hotel proved good for. Most of the staff spoke good English and were very helpful."

"Poor hotel, in desperate need of refurbishment. No air con, no fan, absolute sweat-box! Facitilites very limited, pool desperately small for size of hotel and number of guests. Probably the oldest/worst hotel in this part of Tenerife, all other buildings looked modern and stylish."

"Apartments were fine - cleaned every day and nice size. Location was brilliant - close to beach and 2mins walk from Bora Bora and Space. Plenty of bars and restaurants close by. Pool was fine - bar served good food all day. Would probably go back."

"as i already knew this holel caters a lot for italians so not many english speaking people here,2nd time i have booked with travel republic and will again nxt year!!!!"

"It should be clearly stated that you may not be allocated a room within Bossa Park, we were in an apartment a fair distance away where we had to carry our cases up around six flights of stairs."

"We were the only English people there!!! But if you love Italian Food you will love this hotel. A good value, clean hotel, good base not really suitable for families with young children. All the entertainment is Italian which would be a shame for little ones."

"I stayed in the "La Noria" part of this multi-hotel complex. I found this hotel to be excellent, with nice rooms, facilities and extremely friendly staff. The food was great too. The clientel is predominantly Italian with a small minority of German, French and British guests. Most of the staff speak very good English, Spanish and Italian."

"This Hotel only caters for Italians and spanish... hardly anyone who works at this hotel speaks English and all entertainment is spoken Italian or Spanish.... English tourist are not welcome here....and on the night of our arrival our room allocation was compromised and an argument ensued with the none English speaking receptionist who only had three beds for us instead of four.... Drunken loud Italians made it impossible to sleep and hardly anything worked in our apartment.... including lights."

"very basic, nothing special, nice staff, horrible food"

"We stayed at Playa Noria hotel which part of the Bossa Park Complex - be warned this is really more suitable to young people as it is almost completely occupied with young italians. The pool area can become quite noisy with the music that is played from 10 am onwards. As we were only there for 6 nights we found it ok but some people may prefer a quieter place! The pool and sunbeds were nice, and our room was ok but the walls are very thin & you can hear other peoples conversations etc,. very clearly! It was nice to have the air conditioning which you can hire for extra 30 euros.
All in all I would say you would probably prefer this if you were 18-30 and Italian! as we were totally blanked the whole time by the Italian Reps - you are not encouraged to join in at all!!
Also be warned there is no lifts & quite a few steps to each room - so families with young children could find this a problem"

"We were changed to the Tivoli Apts in Playa D'en bossa. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel was two streets from the beach and the local bars. The pool was roomy and clean. Air-con was free."

"On arrival we were moved to hotel Algarb as Bossa Park was full. Was upgraded to all inclusive option and hotel Algarb was decent with a nice pool and v. close to the beach. Better for young people but quite a few couples and families were also at the hotel."

"This hotel is mainly populated by Italians and after meeting an English family I was told that their son was refused entry to the kids club as it was only for Italian guests. For our group the hotel was ideally situated to the bats and within walking distance of Space. The hotel is off the main drag which meant we were not disturbed by traffic noises, the pool was clean and there were no overcrowding issues.
The rooms are fairly basic and air con is a must!"
