"I became ill whilst on holiday the reception staff couldn't do enough for me they arranged for a doctor to see me and sorted out where to go for my treatment, and were always enquiring afterwards did I need anything.
The apartment complex was furnished to a high standard and the cleaning and maintenance was first class.
We'll be going back again and recommending it to our friends."Top Tip:

"Hotel was spotlessly clean and all staff from reception to cleaners and bar staff were friendly and helpful. reception staff even took postcard to post for me. Good choice of meals from cafe bar on site. Pool always supervised by lifeguard when open. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Only slight draw back Puerto de la Cruz is very hilly and there are steps and slopes every where. It certainly keeps you fit. Of course the terrain is nothing to do with the hotel which was excellent in every respect."

"On the whole we found the apartments were excellent value. We were impressed by their cleanliness and were clearly well looked after and maintained. Spacious for a studio. We had a bit of a problem with noise from a group of young men above our apartment at night but this was dealt with in a swift and effective manner by Security.
Their mattresses were very firm which didn't make for a very comfortable night's sleep but for 7 nights we could live with this and is a minor complaint.
Would have liked the pool to have stayed open for longer than 7pm."Top Tip:

"Fantastic and outstanding is simply the best way to describe the Casablanca Apartments. Clean, Friendly, Good Location, and so helpful with everything. Surprised me with a bottle of bubbly for my birthday. But is on a hill, so fine for most, but people with poor mobility may find it difficult if going into the town, but Taxis always available and only cost 2euros into town centre.
Only disappointment was the cocktails which were rubbish. (The ones at the beach bar were far better.)
We will be going back. We booked this hotel after reading reviews and it is simply A1, I would be surprised if anyone could stay and not be very pleased."Top Tip:
"Get on the local bus 375 to Los Gigantes ,( €6) Where you can go whale watching for €15, and the bus goes over the mountain and the views are fantastic. Therefore no need to do the very expensive excursions. (We Saved over €200 by doing this) And the whale watching is excellent value for money.
Go to the Italian restaurant on the see front, (Can’t remember the name) but only one overlooking the rocks and sea on Calle San Telmo Street, Fantastic food, and out of this world pastries all cooked and prepared in full view. "Its a lovely apartment complex but there are a lot of steps down to the town. (You can walk round but its further). Excellent facilities nice pool area, even a great laundry which while not fun can be useful. Reception staff have excellent language skills and some have been there a long time. I have been here about 10 times and have always been pleased."

"Very clean and excellent self catering facilities. The weather was very poor during the half term week we were out there (Feb 2009) and it seems to be that there isn't a great deal else other than Loro Parque to do in Peurto De La Cruz when the sun isn't shining!!
The beaches are not suitable for swimming but the Lido looked excellent - but the weather didn't allow us to enjoy that either!!
The local restaurants all seem to have the same menu which is rather strange but you can eat fairly cheaply if you look around and the food is very reasonably priced. The food in the actual hotel is awful - don't be tempted!! Do yourself a cheese toastie in the room instead!!
Other people mention the stairs down to the resort and back up to the hotel and personally they didn't really bother me but my partner and our 5 year old daughter did start to get a bit fed up with them after 3 or 4 days of trekking up and down them."Top Tip:
"If you want to do some food shopping go down the steps and buy from the local supermarket as it is a lot cheaper, just remember you have to carry the bags back up all them steps!!
Go to Loro Parque it is excellent - our 5 year old absolutely loved it and I would thoroughly recommend it. The yellow train from the main square is the best way to get there - all part of the excitement!!
We also drove down to a water park in the South called Siam Park. If you have intention to do the same make sure you buy the combined tickets with Loro Parque otherwise it can prove quite pricey. We paid around 75 euro for three of us just to get into the water park (and a further 60 euro to get myself and my partner into Loro Parque, kids under 6 get in free!) and our daughter was too short (under 110cm) to go on most of the slides etc so we were restricted to the main pool, the lazy river and the kids area (which is great but very cold when the sun isn't shining!!)
Weather did seem to be a lot better in the South as the day we were departing it was raining in Peurto but excellent sunshine in Los Christianos where we stayed for the afternoon before going back to the airport.
If you want to hire a car use Argus Car Hire or Autoreisen - excellent service and very, very efficient at brilliant price."Casablanca Apartments check-in Date:

"Puerto De La Cruz is a very pretty town on the North side of Tenerife, perfect for those who want to escape the 'Blackpool with the heat turned up' feel of Los Cristianos and Playa De Las Americas. Apartments Casablanca were very nice, very clean with a small swimming pool and a bowling green. Generally the entertainment catered for older guests than ourselves. Food was available but we always ate in town as there was such a good selection."

"'Le Rose De Bari' just off Plaza Charco, is an excellent authentic Italian restaurant, its worth going looking for. Only the beaches with black sand are natural, the others all have imported golden sand from the Sahara. "The Hotel was excellent. The reception staff were very helpful and gave great recommendations for restaurants. The room was very well equipped, they even provided a welcome bottle of wine. It is a 30 min walk to the main beach but its a nice walk. It is on a hill so the very young and old may have trouble. The resort is lovely and will happily go back again."

"We chose to hire a car for our holiday. It's important, then, when looking for accomodation that parking is avaiable. Casablanca Apartments, where we stayed, have limited parking and charge daily for it. When booking the accomodation, it would have been really helpful to be able to reserve parking as well.
This seems to be a weakness in most holiday websites (including yours) - it would be a good ehnacement to your service to provide this."Top Tip:

"the hotel was more than I expected. the Place was very clean and the staff very friendly. the Rooms were the best I have stayed in, especially considering were were self catering. normally we would eat out at night, but the kitchen area was that well equipped, we cooked ourselves."

"This accomodation is right at the top of a 3 STAR rating.I would recomend to everyone
other than people with walking difficulties as the apartments are up a steep incline.
However a taxi is less than 4 euros from the rank by the square near the harbour. We

"Just come home from a two week holiday at these apartments. we wern't expecting much from these apartments to be honest as we paid very little to stay there. However we were really impressed with the place. The complex was very clean with maids coming every day except thursday and sunday and we were given fresh towels and bedding each day.
The actual apartments themselves were really nice- much posher than we'd expected and the staff on reception spoke brilliant English and were really helpful.
As a teenage couple we found Puerta de la Cruz a little on the quiet side. Definately wouldn't go there for a guys or girls hol.
There are 117 steps down into the main town which didn't bother us but may affect people with walking diffuculties. Alternatively there was a ramp you could take but it was fairly steep.
So the hotel was top notch - would personally give it four stars. The pictures dont do it justice. As well as the pool it has its own bowling green, gym and games room and is right on the central bus route."Top Tip:
"For anyone who stays here in the future we would highly recommend that you get a bus from the aiport (we travelled from the south airport via taxi and it cost around 100 euros). You can either get a direct bus from the airport which actually stops outside the aparments or you can travel to Santa Cruz and then get one of three buses in to Puerto de la Cruz all of which stop outside the apartments. All you have to do is tell the driver the name of the apartments. We travelled back to the airport this way and it cost us 11 euros each
Also the beaches near the apartments are very rocky so we always went to Playa Jardin which was about a 20 min walk away. However there is a free yellow train which takes you from the centre of town to Loro parque which is right next to the beach so you can just hop on that."Casablanca Apartments check-in Date:

"The apartaments were well located, clean, and with friendly staff. I went with my family (2 adults and 2 chikldren) and we all had a good time. The 1 bedroom apartment has a sofabed that converts in two beds and that was a bonus, since the children didn't have to share the bed. The pool is a bit small for the size of the complex and I assume it might get crowded in peak season."

"Our third stay at the Casablanca, once again a spacious, clean and comfortable apartment. Very well equipped with just about everthing you want, although there is no ceiling fan or air conditioning and the apartment did get very warm at times. The hotel staff are always polite and friendly, the maids always ready with a cheery smile and a "hOLA". The girls on reception speak really good English and nothing is too much trouble for them."

"Lots of good, cheap restaurants within walking distance of the complex. La Casona in the Plaza Del Charco is always worth a visit, a bit on the expensive side but a great atmosphere and friendly waiters.

"Casablanca staff are extremely friendly, efficient and genuinely interested in your requirements. Our two bed apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean. Even the outside areas are hosed and mopped on a regular basis. The beds were made on what seemed like a daily basis. The hotel entertainment suited a more mature clientele."

"The room exceeded our expectations - it was clean (cleaned most days), large, well furbished and tasteful. There was everything you'd need cutlery wise, iron/ ironing board, hairdryer etc etc. Great balcony view over mount Teide (snow capped) Excellent customer service. It was on a main road but we found we still slept soundly and we really appreciated the rules about no noise after 11. We'd definitely go back. There is a hill to climb from Puerto but it was only 10 mins from the centre and helped to work off the food and drink."

"We cannot praise the Casablanca apartments highly enough. Our 1 bed apartment was spotlessly clean, large, comfortable and extremely well equiped. The reception staff were always cheerful, helpful and informative. If hiring a car the apartments benefit from underground secure parking ( at 3 euros per day). On my birthday, I received a card and bottle of sparking wine (totally unprompted). We also received a welcome bottle of wine and water in our room on our arrival (little touches maybe but still show they care !) The complex boasts excellent facilities and has its own very good and informative website. These apartments are probably the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in - great value, in a good location and in a wonderful town. We would recommend the Casablanca wholeheartedly and would love to return there soon. Julie & Steven"
Top Tip:
"Puerto de La Cruz is a lovely town to base a holiday in tenerife in. In the town itself we would recommend visits to the Botanoical Garden, the Orchid garden and to the area around the Casino - theres a lovely park across from the Casino and the Risco Bello Jardin Acuatico is a delightful terraced watergarden nearby. Also worth visiting is La Laguna where half a day spent wandering around the old town is well worth a look - very 'real life' tenerife and almost completely untouristy.
We would recommend the following restaurants for excellent quality food and service all very good value too ( when compared to similar standards in Britain) - Regulos (near Plaza del Charco) is excellent as is Casa De Miranda (on Sto. Domingo) - both these restaurants are in old traditional building and offer superb food and attentive service.
Mil Sabores on Cruz Verde (just around the corner from Regulo) is absolutely fantastic - if you love good food you must try here although you may need to book - it is sensational !! Across the street from Mil Sabores is Los Tulipanes which looks like its only recently opened - the food here was also very good.
If youre desperate for a 'Curry fix' you could try the Indian Palace (across the street from the Cinema) - this was the only 'indian' we came across in PDLC - our meal was pretty good - worth a try.

"This is the 2nd time in a row we have had our holiday with Travel Republic. We booked flights, accommodation, car hire and insurance. Both times we have gone to the Casa Blanca Apartments in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. We had no problems at all. The apartments were excellent, and when I booked for the 2nd time I requested the same room as last year, which we were given!"
Top Tip:
"Each day at the beach is different, depending on the tide and what time you go. At the rocks, in front of the Rancho Grande restaurant , if the tide is in you have a great time jumping into the huge waves from the walkway, and if the tide is out you spend the day swimming and exploring the rock pools watching the sea-life. The black sand beach is a bit of a walk, but worth it as well. Great waves, good facilities along the beach. Many, many great restaurants to choose from, not just in the square, although La Casona on the square is excellent. We ate out every night, great value for money, lovely food. Puerto de la Cruz is still very Spanish, which appeals to us. Great shopping as well. Great service yet again from Travel Republic for a perfect holiday, thankyou.
