"The hotel is in need of a facelift, as it is quite old and tired, although it is clean. The food in the hotel isn't great, I wouldn't recommend staying full/half board."

"We stayed at the De Costa Bay Hotel from 4th August - 14th August 2008. The Apartments are very basic but very spacious and clean. Our cleaner (Penny) was really lovely and so very helpful I must say one of the best we have ever had. The down side for us was that we had a late flight home so had to be out of our apartment by 12noon. The apartments did not have any vacancies for us to keep our rooms on or even find another one. The facilities for changing were really bad the shower was down stairs and it was stinking hot and was bloody awful!! The resturant was very good for snacks but did not use it at any other time as we always went in to Protaras which has loads of resturants and bars. I feel that these apartments are badly in need of updating and they really need some air conditioning in the lobby area where you have to wait for your transfers. I would not go back to these apartments but would definately go back to Protaras."

"Very basic but clean accomodation, well worth the cost. We actually got 1 bed apt even though we'd paid for studio. These apartments are 'cheap and cheerful' The pool is lovely, overlooking the sea. Can't comment on the food or entertainment as we ate out everynight. It's a 10-15 min walk to the main strip. The only negative is that there's a building site facing the front of the hotel and unfortunately, we were at the front, so it was very noisy from approx 7am every week day. It'd probably not be so bad if you were in the sea facing rooms, so the extra cost would be worth it if you like to sleep in!"

"Booked for 7 nights here and all in all it was great value for money. The hotel was pretty simple and basic in the rooms but the complex itself was nice and the standard of cleaning and room service was good.

Only booked B&B which was fine, can't comment on lunch and dinner services. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and a couple of clubs on the main strip 5-10min walk away. The beach is the same distance and what nice beaches they are too!!

I would recommend this resort and hotel to pretty much every age group as there is plenty for everyone to do here and for those who like one hell of party now and then ayia napa is 10-15min taxi ride.

Would definately return one day.

"Its an old complex and seen better days but very clean with basic facilities, you get what you pay for and its cheap but 2 1/2 star at most. You need a car as its 10 minutes walk before you hit the strip. Breakfast OK Dinner buffet from fair to miss it. Lots of French guests."

"This Apart/hotel is quite old and dated but clean so I would class this more as a 3 Star. However, it is conveniently situated away from the main high street (about 10mins walk) so an ideal location. We paid for a sea view which was well worth the extra - full sea view with added bonus of pool view. Staff very helpful and friendly so overall a good holiday. Beware, Cyprus is a very hot country so still in the mid 30's when we left. If we visited again we have been advised to come early May when the flowers are out or October as we would have preferred it a little cooler."

"The hotel was very satisfactory and we would go there again. The only problem was the lack of suitable cooking utensils for a self catering stay. Perhaps they deliberately
do not provide enough of the right pots and pans so that one would use their restaurant or go to the local eateries.

"The Hotel was a 2 star not 3 star and the air conditioning was very poor in the rooms and no where to be found anywhere else in the hotel.
This was the first time we had gone abroad and had no welcome meeting, i appreciate your companies position but perhaps you could consider contacting aanother company there to let your people join them. The hotel food as well was very poor indeed, in fact we were half board and never eat in the hotel after the second evening. ( not your fault)"

"I love it! the Swimming pool and view was lovely looking over the sea! nice friendly staff! and having the free air con was a bonus!! It was near and near the town with night life etc, but just enough out off it so you didnt get the noice! would defo go back there!!!"
