"My girl-friend and I had a great 5 day stay in Hotel Kamari! It was actually surprisingly great for an internet find! It is quite a big hotel very well looked after and with very polite staff! The whole setting was superb and the landscaped areas around it looked after including the pool which was a fair size and clean! Overall i would definitely stay there again with a girl-friend or my boyfriend and would recommend it to anyone. You definitely get more than your money's worth in an island that can be very expensive!"
Top Tip:
"There are two different very nice beaches with gold sand and blue sea within 5-10 minutes walk, Platys Yalos and Psarou. Platys Yalos has a number of taverns and restaurants by the beach but no other entertaining places. However there is a very good bus services which runs every half an hour all day till 2 o'clock in the morning and takes you to Mykonos town in 10 minutes. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and the reception desk sells bus tickets. It could not be any more convenient! After a late night out you can always take a taxi back to the hotel and it was only around 6 euros! You are in a fairly quite setting but if you want you can be in the hassle and bustle of the Mykonos town in 10 minutes!
There are also boat 'taxis' that leave from Platys Yalos beach and take you to the three popular beaches, Paranga, Paradise and Super Paradase, which are renown for there beach bars and clubs that are very lively with loads of parties mainly during the high season July and August. We were there the 1st week of September during which every other Greek island would be pretty empty but Mykonos was still quite busy!"

"I think this hotel is good value for money. The location is convenient in so much that it's in between paradise beach and the town. There is a nice stroll of no more than 100m to the beach and the hotel has a very nice pool / bar area."

"Hotel was absolutely fantastic! Everything we required for the perfect summer holiday... wonderful staff, good rooms, good view, good facilities close to beaches, supermarkets, restaurants and bars, also bus stop to mykonos town just infront of the hotel! For the bargain price we paid I would recommend Kamari Hotel to anyone! Marvellous! :)"
Top Tip:
"Atlantida Restaurant on the beach front Platis Gialos... reasonably priced, beautiful food, friendly and fun staff! Also if you eat there regularly they let you use there sunbeds for free in the day! Brilliant restaurant.... also very good cocktails! Avoid eating in Mykonos town.... unless you're paying large amounts of money for the food... service, wine and food and generally of bad quality better to stick to local beach restaurants."

"The hotel was very clean. The pool was very good for a three star hotel and the air conditioning was the quietest I have ever had in a hotel which meant we could keep it on all night. I would not recommend it for people with mobility problems, however it was right next to the bus stop to Mykonos town, two minutes walk downhill to the beach and the boat stop. The breakfast spread was extensive and you could each as much as you liked, however it was the same everyday. It was very quiet in the evenings so not an ideal choice for party loving people."
Top Tip:
"Use the boat service. We went to 5 different beaches in our week. Elia is good for a quiet relaxing day. Paradise is good for loud beach music. Avoid Nammos on Psarou beach at all costs - the service is appalling and the staff are extremely rude."

"Had an amazing stay at the Kamari hotel, the staff were excellent, fun and really social.

Location was great for exploring all the beaches, Paraga (ten minute walk) and Super Paradise (taxi boat) being our favourites.

The bus service to town is also only e1.60 and ten minutes long!

Will definitely return."
Top Tip:
"Nikos restaurant on the beach was great! As was Costas restaurant in Mykonos town!

Take the taxi boats and check the other beaches out. Well worth it.

The pool and pool bar at the hotel is lovely. The drinks are also very cheap compared with some places. Paraga beach bar was very expensive in comparison!!"

"people at front desk were extremely nice and helpful during our stay. the rooms were alright, enough for what you needed, clean and secure. it was very useful to have had a fridge and your own air con. cant beat the location - bus stops right in front of the hotel, and its only about 20 mins from the airport."
Top Tip:
"if you go left you end up at platis yialos beach, if you go right and through the fancy hotel across the street you can take their lift and end up at psarou beach. dont tell the lady at reception that you arent a guest or they wont let you use their lift - and instead will make you scale the 100 yr old steps on the side of the cliff!"
