"More of an Italian Hotel, there was six other english people in this hotel approx. 100 italians. Not an all-inclusive hotel alcahol is not included in the all inclusive programme and is about £4-00 a pint, where as outside of hotel it was about £2-00. Not much to choose from at dinner time, the food was the same, and not that tasty. On a good note for the price i paid for this holiday i am satisfied with what i got, wont be going back though."

"We stayed at Shores Aloha, the hotel caters mainly for Italian, Russian and Polish guests, the entertainment is only in Italian and these are the only people the entertainment team are interested in, the entertainment is limited, so if you want any you will have to go off the hotel complex, this hotel is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties as it is built on quite a steep slope, but the coral reef and water are amazing, we found the guy on the jetty to be very helpful with identifing the fish and helping you out with the snorkel if you were not very experienced, generally the staff were very helpful, the rooms clean with fresh towels daily, not sure would return only due to the Italian influence in the hotel which is a shame as the hotel is well situated."

"Having read some of the reviews about aloha and due to the fact that it is one of the cheaper 4* resorts i wasnt expecting a great deal however aloha more than exceeded expectations. It is a beautiful resort and it has the wow factor when you arrive. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff are more than friendly. The food is displayed beautifully and there is such a huge range, fresh fish, meat, pasta, salad... !! The resort was great for us because it wasnt near the hustle and bustle of naama bay but still only a 20 minute journey on the complimentary shuttle bus. The resort has its own private beach but it is on a beautiful coral reef. The resort lifeguards were so great as me and my friend were a bit too nervous to go snorkelling in the 30m drop off point from the jetty so they volunteerd their time to swim with us and personally show us the coral reef which weare more than grateful for. The all inclusive suited us perfectly, unlmited drnks throughout the day, all the soft drinks, still and sparkling water, iced tea, karkadeh, beer, rum, vodka and gin! The beach bar served snacks like pizza, focaccia and chips from 11am to 5pm so we never got hungry!! We had a great tiime at this resort but i can understand that some people may be disappointed at all the entertainment being in italian. However it didnt really bother us as we spent most of the niights in either naama bay or old sharm!! the best thing about this place iis the staff! They were all so friiendly and helpful!!! would strongly recommend this resort!!!"

"this was a very clean hotel, good security, good food in beautiful buffet style, but you need to sign for every glass of alcohol, so we ordered 2 doubles at a time.no problems with soft drinks. the hotel is on the seaside with its very on coral reef and lots and lots of fish. snorkeling is a must! bedlinen towels and beachtowel were changed every day. there were 2 good sized swimmingpools. airconditioning good and included in price. friendly staff! we went with our 4 teenagers age 13 15 17 and 19 and we all had a fab time. entertainment in italien as most guests were italian but we did not mind this. they were keen to involve us in their activities like beachvollyball ect."

"A lovely, clean, quite small hotel by Sharm standards, much nicer than the big resorts. Mainly very friendly staff, great beach with jetty straight onto great wall dive. Brilliant dive center with English speaking instructors. Good food, and the staff at the pool bar and on the beach were great. I will definitely go to this hotel again."

"I had a fantastic time in Sharm. The Aloha Hotel and Resort is lovely, with beautiful gardens and very clean, the staff were all very friendly. We had a lovely room, with the view of the swimming pool and sea, which was wonderful to look out on to when waking up in the morning. The weather was very good, and i would recommend April a good time of the year to visit Egypt as the heat is comfortable. "

"All inclusive is restricted to one bar, if you like a good pint this is not the hotel for you. The entertainment is Italian bias. Food good."

"Our 'Family Room' only had 3 single beds in it and no room for another, so we ended up sharing all week. The mini bar is an empty fridge that is warmer than the AC. If you are Italian you have got it made, everything is aimed at them and they definately take priority. However, the waiters, cleaners etc. were lovely and the resort was spotless, but a bit tatty. Although there is not access to the sea from the beach the coral reef is fantastic. Having previously stayed in a 4/5* resort in Egypt I would debate whether the quality of Aloha is 4* in comparison."

"Hotel is quite Italian-centric. Although a lot of the staff speak english and are very helpful, you get the feeling it's more fun for the Italian speakers as the entertainment (shows) are mainly organised by their tour operators. Food was OK - not piping hot while being served but given the number of children around, might be more for safety than any wish to upset the clientele. Therefore, I have to disagree with most the people who complained about it. There was a decent enough selection and, lets face it, for the price and being an all inclusive, it was never going to be Michelin star standard. Rooms were clean and well laid out for comfort although some were located in not-particularly-appealing locations on the resort (i.e. near entrance or next to boiler vents from the main building). Would I return their - most probably. Great price and it's own beach and pool make it an attractive option."

"The location of the hotel was superb and the grounds were impressive. The all inclusive system was a little confusing, as you could only get certain things from certain bars and only at certain times. Water available all day, but if you want some to take back to your room, you had to buy a bottle?! The food was fabulous... Friendly staff, although they tended to be nicer if you were italian or russian... We went for a relaxing sun break and that's exactly what we got. Wonderful. Great if you like swans on your bed made out of your bath towel..."

"The location of the hotel, the food and the staff were excellent. The problem with the hotel is the term of "All Inclusive", as this is misleading. We found that out of the number of bars that were on the hotel complex, only the pool bar was available to guests on the all inclusive package. The drinks at this bar were served in paper cups, less than half filled. The All Inclusive package did not cover the fish restaurant. The purpose of All Inclusive is to enjoy freedom of the hotel facilities for the duration of your visit, this is not the case with this hotel."

"we were unfortunate to get probably the worst room in the resort with view of a wall right beside rooms used by garden staff for storage. Also had problems with water being dirty. the food ws very good with plenty of choice. Pool and beach clean and well kept gardens.Disappointed with level of all inclusive - regularly ran out of vodka sometimes as early as 8pm ! Also had to drink from paper coca cola cups as only all inclusive bar ws beside pool. Hotel was heavily biased towards the Italian guests with virtualy no fluent English speaking staff. Internet was not working. Would not class as four star."

"We had a lovely relaxing week at Aloha and the we were very impressed with the cleanliness & friendliness of the resort. The rooms were spacious and the location on the beach was perfect. We made good use of the free shuttle bus to the centre most evenings."

"I could not have wished for a better place to stay, staff, food, hygiene absolutely brillliant. Although one week wasnt long enough. I am returning next year for two weeks, and will be recommending the hotel and TravelRepublic as a tour operator to all of my friends."

"Nice hotel complex spread over a large site. Beach is quite stoney and real sand but overall nice coral reefs by the jetty with a variety of fish. Rooms are nice and spacious with air conditoning, televison, shower and WC. We stayed on a ground floor room, all have a terrace. All 1st floor rooms have a balcony. Food ok but does not really changed much, a lot of chicken, beef or veal is served. The all inclusive programme is a bit obscure. Certain bars have to be used at certain times. Some bars you need to pay for your drinks there if you use it. Very strong spirits are used. Not included in all inclusive programme is fruit juices, tea, coffee and bottled beer. Finally the hotel is very italian orientated due to the tour operators within the complex. All entertainment and daytime activties are directed towards the italians. They do not like to get the english involved in the activties. I enjoyed my stay here and the location is good, not too far from naama bay but close to an array of local shops and tavernas. However I would not return and advise not to book if you like to keep active during the day or you can not handle independancy within the complex itself."
