"Reasonable standard of accomodation but appartments are in need of refurbishment. Public areas and pool are reasonable. A few small animal friends in appartment and terrace.Only a few of the staff speak any English and reception has limited opening hours. On site supermarket is very limited.Location is in quiet area of resort and much further to beach and shops than stated. A car is probably necessary for most guests. Costa Calma is a small resort with few restaurants and shops."

"Although a bit tired and shabby-looking the hotel offered great value for money. Beautifully-kept gardens and swimming pool cleaned daily. Staff very friendly and helpful - also a great opportunity to try out your Spanish. We heard lot of complaints about the food but we felt it was appropriate to the price we had paid. Not a great choice of vegetables but adequate for us. Vegetariians might struggle. Very quiet location - no entertainment provided by the hotel as stated but this was exactly what we wanted. Excellent value for money and we would definitely return. This part of the island is not for party-animals. The beaches are to die for!!"

"the hotel was just as described on your web site the only thing i could say i didnt enjoy was how quite it was but it was already mentioned on your review so i cant complain it could have had some entertainment especailly with a 12 year old apart from that things where fine"
