"Immaculately clean. Fantastic en suite. Rooms very slightly dated. Nothing much going on within immediate surroundings. Internet cafe and pizza take away both of which open late, nearby. "
Top Tip:
"Fantastic bus service to Venice, every 10 minutes, or half an hour if you take more direct service. Costs nothing if you buy waterbus ticket in Venice for duration of stay."

"FOR A 3* HOTEL COULD NOT HAVE FOUND BETTER, STAFF VERY HELPFULL, FOOD EXCELLENT. (DO TAKE A TRAVEL KETTLE AS NONE IN ROOM) B/FAST FROM 7am / 10am. SHEETS CHANGE EVERY DAY, ALSO ROOM CLEANED EVERY DAY. IF WE EVER GO BAACK TO VENICE I WILL BOOK THIS HOLTEL FOR OUR STAY."
Top Tip:
"CHEAP SHOP 300 METERS, AND LOCAL BAR 150 METERS SAME PRICE AS UKI WOULD ADVISE ANYONE TO BET A VENICE ORANGE CARD ( TRAVEL) IT COST 83 EURO EACH BUT SAVED US A LOT OF MONEY AS U CAN TRAVEL ON ANY ACTV LAND BUS OR WATER BUS (A MUST) ( DAVE & CHRISTINE - DERBY ) "

"The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful. The transport links in Venice were excellent. Only 1 restaurant in the vacinity of the hotel but there were Pizza shops so not too bad. Really enjoyed our stay. Be warned if going on the Number 4 bus look out for Via Altinia otherwise the bus goes down another road not passed the hotel."
Top Tip:
"The Pizza shop about 40 metres away was excellent, long wait but worth it."

Hotel Details - Altieri Hotel

Property Summary

Modern building surrounded by a private parking space.

All the rooms have been recently refurbished and equipped with all the modern comforts, including sound proof windows. All rooms are, along with the bathrooms, in excellent condition.

The breakfast room has also been recently refurbished but it still remains a bit basic on the decorations. The room is spacious and well organised and a buffet breakfast is arranged for all guests.

Very good value for money. CQ 09/07

Location

The hotel is located close to the Marco Polo airport, only 3.5 km away, and only 8 km from Venice Piazzale Roma and Mestre train station. It is about 15 minutes by bus and the bus stop is close by. Only 4,5 km away there is also a branch of the Venice Casino. The hotel can arrange transfers on request to all of those destinations. The hotel is located right in the city centre of Favaro Veneto, a district of Mestre and it is surrounded by all the amenities typical of a small town, like bars and restaurants and shops.
