Lucinda from Sheffield reviewed the Amar Sina Hotel
"Lovely traditional style small hotel, very clean, very quaint, well worth the tiny amount of money it cost! Lovely staff who couldn't do enough to help - and different 'towel art' every day which was always very creative! This is my 6th visit to Sharm for scuba diving, and I definitely prefer this hotel to the large, impersonal 4 and 5 star hotels I've stayed at before. The service is better and the rooms have all you need including a mini bar (cheap) and air conditioning. But not many rooms have balconies, so ask beforehand if you really need a balcony. However there are lots of comfortable nooks and crannies to sit and relax, including a lovely big bedouin tent area. All in all, a fab hotel in my view - I'll definitely stay here again and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a traditional, down to earth, friendly, personal approach."

"Supermarket and little shops next door - very useful! And lovely atmosphere right outside the hotel with public area, shisha and tea bar where you can watch the world go by. Taxis easy to hail on the road outside, any time of day or night. Buses to the beach are a bit few and far between, but you can get a taxi to the nearest public beach (which is not far away) for less than a pound so it's no big deal."
Trevor from Broadstairs reviewed the Amar Sina Hotel
"A fantastic little hotel that makes every effort to ensure you have a good time but it isn't the Ritz. That said I have done 5 stars and thik this place was better, friendly, cozier. Accept what they can can notprovide and don;t argue and its great, they have their limitations and rules to follow."

"In the hotel on a friday they have a Pharonic show, I wont go into details its a great little esurpirse and a bargain at £4.00 sterling if you are all inclusive. Blu, is a nice resturant on the same road less than 5 mins walk. No alcohol but clean nice and reasonable. European menu if you have had your fill at the hotel. At the End of the road is Tavern 2 (Englush bar, nothing special but the have wi fi"
Denise from Maidenhead reviewed the Amar Sina Hotel
"The Amar Sina was fantastic - clean, with great rooms and restaurant and helpful staff. Great buffet breakfast and evening meals. "
Top Tip:
"Although it is not near the beach, the hotel runs a free shuttle bus to its own lovely private beach about 10 minutes away. As there are steps down to the beach, this may limit its suitability for less mobile guests."
"The hotel was just right for me. There was no childrens club or disco and so was quiet. There was entertainment ( belly dancers, magicians etc 3 times a week) that was good. I chose a top floor room so the ceilings were domes with coloured glass inserts - very pretty. The food was good and they did seem eager to find you something you will like. There is not much choice of drinks on AI but that didn't bother me. There is a free shuttle to the beach. The beach did not look great but all the splendour is under the water ! The snorkelling is fantastic !!! Even if you only paddle you will see wonderful fish. The beach has food, a small shop and a charming man offering excellent massages at a good price.
Shopping and going out is a little scary but once you decide its all a fun game you'll do ok. Next door at the car hire shop they do excursions that were cheaper than others I'd seen advertised and if you bought 4 you got another free ! I did 3 trips - all good - a little rough & ready but at the price were a good value.
I was not sick, there were no creepy crawlies, the hot water always worked and all the travel arrangements worked well.
All in all a good holiday.

"Staff were excellent and good clean rooms. Having ordered a double room we ended up with a twin."
Top Tip:
"Picasso resturant at the end of the road provdes excellent food and the best cofee to be had in the area. Colona divers (attached to the hotel) are excellent for the potential or existing divers, tuition and instructors are great."
"It was between terrible and OK. From the reports I had read prior to booking, it was far below my/our expectations. I was quite saddended, the hotel seemed tired and somewhat run down, as if very little work has been done since being built. Room was mediocre, furniture not very comfortable. We overlooked the pool area which was at times extremely noisy. The cleaners did not replace the glasses in the bathroom or wash them - only time I got them changed (in a 2 week stay) was by asking. Towels were replaced but always 1 short. The phone had not been dusted, probably for months. Most staff were quite friendly and obliging, however the restaurant (thank goodness we were B&B as buffet food not good) manager was most rude and patronising. All in all, not a place to return to - 4 star, not a chance. Best thing we did was an overnight trip to Cairo and Luxor, we booked independently."
David from Birmingham reviewed the Amar Sina Hotel
"It was superb. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the room designs were lovely. The pool was fantastic and the area was lovely and peaceful without lots of hustle and bustle. Only moan was the price of locally brewed beer - £2.50 which is more expensive than the UK !! Not good news at all."
Top Tip:
"Local beach got very crowded so you needed to go early. Definitely go snorkelling as the sealife is superb.
Other hotels and bars offered cheaper priced drinks, so shop around. A large bar on the end of the road was good, opposite The Cleopatra Hotel."
"Hotel was comfortable and cleaned everyday. Staff were very friendly. The 'Egyptian Village' theme was lovely with plenty of authentic touches, e.g. the majlis. Found enough things to do close to hand, eg mall and shops only 15 minutes walk away. All in all, a good relaxing holiday. "
Top Tip:
"The 'History of Egypt' night organised by the hotel was well worth a visit.
The free bus to and from the beach was great. "
"Bad loud music in the pool area. Nothing to see or do in walking distance other than tourist shops.
The hotel beach is crammed with people and the swimming & snorkelling is poor. A shame because the hotel looks good."
Patricia from Manchester reviewed the Amar Sina Hotel
"Hotel looked a little tired, in need of a little paint here and there. The food was barely warm, nothing exciting not very imaginative. The all inclusive concept was very strange at this hotel. Everything was by the glass even the water! if you wanted bottled water you had to pay for it. The bar staff always did a stock take at 10.45 each evening leaving guests feeling that they had to get their last drinks in for the night before this. Having been to the Red Sea many times the food and the all inclusive programmes were far superior. The hotel staff were very good and the evening entertainment was good although we had to pay extra on two occasions for the BBQ food which could have been included within the all inclusive concept."

"This was a wonderful hotel the staff were excellent could not do enough for you, before we went I had read quite a few reviews about this hotel and they were not very favourable so was a bit anxious about going but as it turned out the hotel was lovely and yes very Egyptian and that is why I feel it stood out from the others as it was different. I must give a big thank you to Abdul who works around the pool his help was wonderful and to the bar staff who were always friendly and helpful, the cleaners who were always polite, the reception staff very helpful, the hotel also has its own taxis which were wonderful and the guys were so helpful. We had a really lovely holiday and we loved the hotel I cannot think of anything that was not bad I would recommend this to anyone."

"Just up the road from out hotel is a Cafe called Picasso the food is great it is run by an English lady no alcohol but they do the best sunday roast and we found this to be a great place to eat. T2 bar and restaurant also local to the hotel was great. Not far from the hotel is a public beach which is lovely and you can walk in about 10 minutes great sunbeds cost 10 egyptian pounds a day but worth it."
Jacqueline from Wolverhampton reviewed the Amar Sina Hotel
"The staff at this hotel couldn't do enough for us , they were wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were offered a choice of rooms, they went to the trouble of remembering our names, our room was always clean, drinks service was excellent.
We were bed and breakfast but ate at the hotel in the evening a number of times, the food was good but maybe a little repetitive.
The pool was crystal clear and the pool lads were very conscientious.
The evening entertainment was a little lacking but that didn't concern us.
We shall definately return to the 'amar sina' again!"
Top Tip:
"There is a small selection of shops attached to the hotel and we would recommend buying your take home gifts from them as we became quite familiar with the staff and had some discounts.
Do spend an evening with the shisha man (Hamish) at the front of the hotel as his fruit juices are delicious and his shisha is good!"
"we have really enjoyed the stay, the staff were helpfull and frendly."
Top Tip:
"there was a really nice cafe around the conner, not sure whats its called but it was on the left side across the street near a shop, i think its called a juice bar."
"Had a fantastic time at Amar Sina. The staff are very friendly and the food was excellent. There are 3 buses to the beach and the snorkelling from the beach is some of the best in the area. The rooms are very eqyptian in style and are beautiful. 1 week was not long enough, I'm going back in February to the same place! "
Top Tip:
"Don't buy your trips through the hotel or rep. Go next door to the car rental place, for very cheap well organised trips."
SARRA JAYNE from RHONDDA CYNON TAFF reviewed the Amar Sina Hotel
"The all inclusive program was NOT all inclusive and it appeared to change on a daily basis. We had to ask for afternoon snacks which were not prepared and consisted only of cake. The bar staff very often disappeared at 22:45 hours and then would not serve any more all inclusive drinks."
