"Fantastic location on the beach. Lovely pool area, with good restaurant attached. Clean and nicely appointed rooms. Lots of good restaurants to walk to - would definitely recommend bed and breakfast basis as the half board option available didnt live up to the 4 star feel of the rest of the hotel. This hotel is situated in la Carhiuella which is more suited to Familes, Couples or older people - not suited to Young people wanting clubs and lively bars as they are not in this resort. "
Top Tip:
"Casa Juan restaurant in the square one street back from the front is fantastic fabulaous Spanish food - fish and paella etc... Not cheap but worth it. "
"The Amaragua is a very attractive Hotel you actually overlook a beautiful beach from the Hotel pool. We had B & B and the breakfast was very good. The restaurants nearby are excellent The Hotel is adorned with many beautiful statues and inside there is an old Spanish Coach and two waterfalls."

"Spanish Garden Restaurant in Montemar district, turn right out of Hotel and walk up the side of the Rui Nautilus Hotel - but you will need to book. Also visit Miguel's beach bar turn left out of Hotel very lively. "

"Excellent for a short Easter break. Hotel in prime position on beach front with very good pool and pool area . Within easy walking distance of Benalmadena and Torremolinos along the paseo maritimo which has loads of good restaurants. Very nice bar area - good for evening drinks, breakfast good - lots of choice, bedroom standard with working air con and side sea view."
Top Tip:
"Drinks in hotel bar cheaper than in sea front bars."
"The hotel was everything that we expected. The rooms were cleaned daily and everything was spotless. The reception staff were very efficient and always willing to help. The seafront position is excellent and the hotel is near to all the local attractions and a good selection of bars and restaurants. I would recommend the hotel to anyone. "
"Staff very friendly and helpful. Waiting staff particularly fast and efficient. Plenty of food and lots of choice. Food not exceptional, typical hotel food. Good facilities. Going back again next month. Good hotel in good location with plenty in resort to keep everyone happy"

"Hideaway Bar in road uphill from the Hotel Pez Espada brilliant. Lovely couple, very helpful. Frequented by local Brits who make all welcome. Turn left out of Amaragua and a few yards along is a spanish bar run by 3 brothers, Lovely friendly guys, good cheap food and drinks. Very friendly "
"Hotel was excellent - have stayed there before and the staff are always pleasant. Rooms are tastefully decorated and spotless. Only had bed and breakfast but the breakfust was good with plenty of choice. The only complaint I had with the hotel was that even though they displayed a notice saying that the beds by the pool could not be reserved, by 9.00 am there were towells on almost every bed by the pool."
Top Tip:
"All the local restaurants were nice and the ones by the Marina (10 minutes walk away) were also excellent and a good choice"
