"The hotel room was reasonably comfortable, though there were a number of problems. One of the balcony doors was broken and would neither open nor close properly; the toilet cistern was leaking water onto the bathroom floor; the bath plug had been removed and there was no shower curtain. Standards of cleanliness were tolerable, but only just. Breakfast was adequate.

The entrance to the hotel is in a side street which stank of urine and close to the hotel doors were some overflowing smelly bins. In the evenings this street was filled with men who were often intimidating to our all-female party; my daughter in particular was subjected to leering, whistles and crude remarks every time we left the hotel.

We checked out of the hotel after the first two nights as we were offered alternative accommodation with friends."

"The hotel is in the most dangerous area of Athens, even the locals avoid it. The area of Omonioa is the centre of the prostitution and drug dealing trade for Athens, and is very unsafe after dark"

"Hotel room OK. Large and reasonable Bathroom with hot water always available.
Area a bit rough but hotel convenient for National Archaeology Museum and metro."
