"The hotel is at the base of a mountain, therefore being a bit of a hike to the beach. However, it is a wonderfully small hotel with very friendly staff. It is very clean and well maintained. The smaller village the hotel is situated in is much nicer than the main 'package' resort of Hersonisos.
Most people hire cars to get around but we decided to have a very relaxing week based in and around the hotel. As it's a nice hotel you do not feel the need to escape."Amazones Village Suites Hotel check-in Date:

"Our second stay this year at the Amazones Suites. We had such a great time in May, we returned with our 2 sons in September. The suites are lovely and very spacious, and the service is excellent. The staff are very polite and friendly. Highly recommend this accommodation for all, except elderly, as it is at the top of a steep hill."

"We had an excellent stay, nice and quiet, very friendly staff, excellent continental breakfast, very good sized room with superb views, we could not complain about a thing except that we only stayed a week. Would definately stay there next year when we return."

"Hotrel was lovely I am not sure I got what i paid for. I asked for a Junior suite with queen bed and side sea view. On arrival i was advised I had been upgraded however I couldn't see how as i now had twin beds and a tiny bit of sea view.

"The hotel is quite high up the hillside (some very steep bits to walk back up!). Having said that, it's so easy to hire a quad, scooter or car to get you around that it's not a problem. The beach is a 20 minute downhill walk or a 30-40 minute uphill walk but having spent time down at the beach and seen the hotels along there, I would always stay at the top of the hill and hire transport than stay near the beach and have the tranquillity spoilt by people (like us!!) riding past on quad bikes!!
The hotel is absolutely lovely, very clean and lots of room. The maid service everyday is excellent and you can't fault the views from either your room or the pool! The hotel staff are very helpful and will always point you in the right direction if you're stuck. The only thing that needs a little improvement is there is very little tourist information at the hotel e.g. what to do, where to go and the info that was there was all in German so not very useful for the English tourists!"Top Tip:
"Hire a quad for your stay to get you around or car if you're afamily - there's loads of parking space at the hotel which was a rarity compared with the other hotels around. Fenomenon bikes are close (about a 10 min walk through the village) and very helpful - will do deals on week long rentals and spent loads of time with us drawing little maps of where we were and where to go which was extremely useful!!"Amazones Village Suites Hotel check-in Date:

"A fabulous holiday, we were treated like royalty by the staff at Amazones Village Suites. So much so, we have already booked to go back in September taking our sons (both in their 20's) with us.
We would highly recommend this hotel to everyone except older travellers with walking difficulties becuase of the steep hill.
The facilities were excellent, the food great and the staff could not do enough for us."Top Tip:

"A very relaxing holiday - the hotel is very comfortable and quiet, ideal for anyone who likes to get away from noisy entertainment! The staff were very helpful and made us feel at home straight away. We will certainly be going back. We would not recommend it for anyone with walking difficulties or for those with children who need lots of entertaining."

"loved every minute,the staff always had a smile on their face and would bend over backwards to help you out. would recomend this hotel, the hotel itself is positioned on a very steep hill, a bit difficult to get down if less mobile. once down you are in the middle of 3 villages (piscopiano) if you go left you end up in hersonissos village (which is pretty quiet) go right and after passing through piscopiano you find another village which has plenty of bars and resteraunts (gallini was my favourite) the beach is about 20 mins walk away, but a bit difficult on the way back up the hill. better beach at stallis which is about 15 euros by taxi"

Hotel Details - Amazones Village Suites Hotel
Amazones Village Suites is a complex of luxurious suites situated at the hillside of the traditional village of Piskopiano. The tranquillity of the surrounding nature, the beautiful panoramic view from pool and reception area , its elegant architecture and style are the elements of an unforgettable time.
Accommodation
All suites are fully equipped with elegant and comfortable furniture. All include spacious bedrooms and arelaxing living room, with A/C heating unit. All the rooms are equipped with kitchenette,coffee/tea making facilities, toaster and microwave. Suites are also equipped with a balcony and/or veranda.
Food & Beverage
Within the hotel, breakfast is served in the breakfast room. A wide variety of tasty dishes is served in the a-la carte restaurant. The hotels poolside bar serves both snacks and a wide range of beverages.
Sports & Leisure
At the hotel and near to the hotel, there are (is) a wide variety of sports and recreational facilities. Guests can enjoy either golf, tenis or water sports. The hotel offers all guests an outdoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi and integrated childrens pool, recreation room with games, a wellness centre. (wellness facilities and a fitness room)
