Linda from Pontypool reviewed the Anba Romani Hotel
"All entertainment were in German, our room was very near a noisy bar, beds were very uncomfortable and having already got back problems the beds made my holiday a unhappy one.Food was ok but very much the same most days. Also the older part of the resturant had a smell .And as the weather was not very good thought id use the indoor pool which i would have thought would have been warmer than the out door pool but it was,nt so did not make use of it.Would,nt stay there again."
Top Tip:
"Shops and bars very close ,in fact too close for me-too noisy."
roland from newport reviewed the Anba Romani Hotel
"Hotel was in a nice location to look at, but the noise on a wednesday night was very loud and coundnt sleep.Guests at meal times were very rude and pushed in all the time.Maid didnt clean the rooms very well, my towels needed changing and left on floor as told to do so and the maid just put them back. We asked for rooms close together and was placed in different building.hotel rooms on the whole need a good clean and tidy up."
DAVID from ABERDEEN reviewed the Anba Romani Hotel
"Excellent location in central Cala Millor on the pedestrian walkway. Near the beach as well as restaurants and bars. Friendly staff and cleaned daily. Restaurant could get busy at times but hey chill with a drink until it gets quieter. All in all for the money paid, could not fault it and would definitely look at availability for this hotel again if going back to Cala Millor"
Robert from cannock reviewed the Anba Romani Hotel
"caters mainly for germans and good if you smoke as it was very smokey in the bar area and smoke smell throughout the building our room was overlooking the street near to the recycle bins which was noisy late at night and early morning 5.0 am we stayed on half board the food was good and plentiful felt sorry for all inclusives as they had to use plastic beer and wine glasses not much room around the small pool area and not many sun beds still very good for the price would return not much to keep kids amused in this hotel "
Top Tip:
"beach only 50 metres across prom but charge 3.5 euros for a sunbed good bar called the bear 10 mins walk towards cala bona beer at 1 euro a pint until 6.0 pm and good food but lots of places to eat and drink "
Lynsey from Waterlooville reviewed the Anba Romani Hotel
"Plastic Matresses. Plastic cups, KFC, BurgerKing, Greasy Spoons.Bingo.Bingo. Bingo. Terrible terrible food and few people under the age of 80. The beach was stunning but if you really want to experience any of the real mallorca do not come here. You get what you pay for I guess. I would never stay here ever again - I checked out after 3 days because it was so dreadful."
Jean Lesley from Sunderland reviewed the Anba Romani Hotel
"Stayed at the Anba Romani in Cala Millor. Food edible for the most part although some meals were not my cup of tea. Hotel room was clean and cleaned daily during our stay. Staff were pleasant and polite. Enjoyed that everyone "mucked in" together all nationalities and age groups seemed really friendly and out for a good time. Very close to the beach and local entertainment although it was quite early in the season and some were not yet open."
Top Tip:
"The Rose and Crown pub just across the street. Rob, Jan and staff made sure that all were welcomed and we had a really good time in their for the week."
andrew from cannock reviewed the Anba Romani Hotel
"We were there with 3 young children and a group of friends of varying ages(5 to 83) and we found the hotel nice and clean, all the staff were very helpfull, the vodka at the bar was very large. The only down side was the food, it was great if you were straight in, but cold if you were a bit late. The entertainment was very german and a legend to it self."
Top Tip:
"The Italian restaurant opposite is superb, down the hotel steps and up the steps directly opposite, and Cheers bar further down the resrort was very welcoming, free ps3 and internet and a good pool table, good food as well."
"We got exactly what we expected from a 3* resort Hotel. We thought the choice of food was good. We had looked at reviews before we went and a lot of them were uncomplimentary about the food saying it catered mainly to the "GERMANS". It didn;t. It was typical 3* Mallorcan Hotel food. I don;t know what some people expect! We paid about £40 total per night for an all inclusive stay. You just can;t beat that for value for money. OK the drink was served in plastic cups. OK the entertainment was basically Bingo. OK a lot of the town was closed for the season. We did go in November. What else do you expect. We would go again but only out of season. To coin a phrase, it did exactly what it said on the tin."
Top Tip:
"Hire a car and collect it at the Airport. It won;t cost that much more than separate transfers and you can get out and about on the Island. It;ll give you something to do when the weather turns and the driving is nice and peaceful at this time of year."
Marilyn from Sheffield reviewed the Anba Romani Hotel
"We seemed to be the only English couple there. It was full of Germans.
Although we could not fault the hotel, the food and the entertainment was all geared to the German visitors. Even on the beach we struggled to find anyone speaking English. Nevertheless Calla Millor is very good and the hotel and room was excellent. "
Top Tip:
"Luckily within yards of the hotel were several cafes etc (Rose & Crown for eg) where the English were very welcome. We would definitely return to that area of Majorca but perhaps not to that particular hotel."
DENISE from RUSHDEN reviewed the Anba Romani Hotel
"Hotel has superb position right opposite the fab sandy beach. For a 3 star hotel it has excellent facilities. Food very good and varied. Hotel and resort are family/couple orientated so experienced no "lager louts" here!! Friendly staff and all the hotel has to offer made this a great holiday. Will definitely come back again."
"Good holiday hotel worthy of its 3 stars. Excellent position in centre of resort across road from beach. Food in restaurant good quality and plentiful ( 2 grandchildren found enough to eat at every meal) Bar staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean BUT get rid of the plastic mattress covers on the beds !!!! "
Marie Louise from Belfast reviewed the Anba Romani Hotel
"Hotel opposite beautiful well maintained beach..view from pool area and rooms at front. Other side of hotel opens onto shopping area. Did not eat in hotel in evening but breakfast good. Hotel clean and rooms cleaned daily. Quiet and peaceful area but activity around cafes and restaurants...we were not looking for lively night life so cannot comment on this. Would go back."
Top Tip:
"Lots of lovely restaurants in close proximity to hotel. Small local supermarket does tasty baguettes for lunch at reasonable price. "
Peter from MARKET DRAYTON reviewed the Anba Romani Hotel
"a very clean, well maintained hotel in an excellent location. Most guests were German but very friendly. The food was of a good standard and plenty of it. The evening entertainment was not very good but there are plenty of hotels/bars around for a good night out. Flights / transfers etc. were very well organised. A good holiday !! Thanks. Will book with you again and recommend to all our friends.!!!!"
