"Never been disappointed in the value for money you get when booking through travelrepublic. This hotel is no different. Clean, pleasant and friendly staff. If you're expecting great in house entertainment at night its not for you. Once again as always very pleased with the value for money..............."

"We only stayed for one night but it was great
The room was clean and had everything we needed.
We had dinner at 8.30 so the food wasnt too hot but it was edible.
There was plenty to eat and a great variety.
We then sat in the bar and drank till our hearts were content.
The bar staff are quite dour but they seem to work from 11 am till 11pm so no wonder.

"This hotel was very clean and tidy. The reception were very quick with booking in and helpful at all times. The food was a little repetative, but aren't all all inclusives.

"Enjoyed our 3 nights but everything very quiet, but good company in the hotel , no real problems at all, clean, food and service good. English music on a night from the DJ was a bit absent until 1030 and the all inclusive finished at 11pm, catered more for the Spanish couples who were staying there. Although on the last night we did manage to get more of the English music from that Dj. We still made the most of it and got up with the Spanish couples and had a real good laugh. Hotel has central heating , lovely in November, one downside was you could hear every noise. Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were great. Staff were great apart from one barman whos face never altered. All in all everything was fine. The only problem was the transfer back to the airport by Resorthoppa, they picked us up far too early and we arrived at the airport 3 hours before the flight - would not book that transfer again."
Top Tip:

"great vulue for money hotel, very clean with great staff.
the spa facilities were great.
get in the restaurant early as they dont seem to top things up after 8pm.
bar closes at 11 so dont get caught out missing your last drinks"Top Tip:

"The ancla hotel is never the sort of place that is going to offer a trip of a lifetime. yet compared to more reputable hotels that i've stayed in, it does have good staff.
Sure everything is basic, the swimming pool is only about 20 foot long, but then again who needs an olympic swimming pool. the food is basic, but then again, i've eaten a lot worse in other 4 star hotels. at least it was warm and it tasted nice.
i guess the best way to sum the hotel up is that it won't enthrall you, but then again it won't really dissappoint you if you got a good deal....at £30 a night, all inclusive you get what you pay for."Top Tip:
"if you got to Fenals, you have to see fenals beach, shaped like a horse shoe with giant rocks either side, try taking the nature trail that looks down onto the beach, although watch out for the ferrow cats, there are plenty of them around the walkways down at the beach....the excercise equipment next to the beach is worth a few picture alone."Ancla Hotel check-in Date:

"a nice clean hotel although a little dated and needs some tlc in places. staff really friendly. it has a lovely hot spa so dont forget your bikini like i did. the food was edible but very spanish. would stay again"

"I am fussy, This hotel was really clean and nicely furnished.
The rooms were basic but again clean.
The food was disgusting, fish for every meal and what was left over was disguised as something else at the next meal. The soup was like water, I would go so far as to say
just book the accomodation and eat out as it is cheap enough.
The staff are really miserable and look at you with dissaproval.
My advice would be to look again for alternative accomodation."Top Tip:

"The Hotel Ancla is well situated in the Fenals area and is only 5 minutes walk to the Fenals beach and 10-15 minutes to the main beach in Lloret where most of the nightlife is.
The Hotel is fine for a short stay and the food was buffet style and for the two days our party of 6 was there was fine.
Only bad part is having to leave room at 10am and having our AI bands removed so no free drinks for that day."Top Tip:

"Thought the hotel was excellent overall. The receptionist was extremely helpful upon arrival and explained all the facilities fully( the spa is really good).The accomodation was very comfortable and cleaned every day. The food was of a very high standard, the highlight being the seafood buffet,with plenty to choose from. The location is quite central and everthing is within short walking distance.We would definitely stay there again"

Hotel Details - Ancla Hotel
The beautiful Ancla hotel is situated in the tourist area of Fenals in Lloret de Mar, and it is only 10 minutes walking distance from picturesque Fenals beach.
Accommodation
The hotel provides rooms with complete bathroom, balcony, telephone, heating, safe box (additional charge), satellite TV, and some rooms with air conditioning (on request).
Food & Beverage
The hotel comprises of a main restaurant and a snack/pool bar.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:30-09:45), lunch (12:30-14:30) and dinner (19:30-21:30), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. Gala dinner (Spanish, Mexican) takes place weekly. During meals water, house wine, beer and/or soft drinks are offered. Snacks such as Frankfurt, hamburgers, chips and olives are available between 12:00 & 14:30 at the pool bar as well as sandwiches from 19:00-22:00. Kids can have ice cream by the scoop or soft ice cream. Tea & coffee time with cookies is from 16:00-18:00 at the pool bar. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like spirits, house wine, water, sangria, beer, fruit concentrated juices and soft drinks are served from 11:00-23:00.
Sports & Leisure
The hotel has a beautiful open air swimming pool for adults and children with free hammocks, a large outdoor Jacuzzi, a new Spa area with hydro massage heated swimming pool, Finnish sauna and thermal bath and shower area. Guests will also find a childrens play area and an entertainment programme for adults and children that includes Spanish Night with Flamenco Show. Other sports and activities available nearby the hotel include golf, windsurf, karting, horse back riding, scuba diving, sailing, etc.
All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment
Sport facilities at the hotel include ping pong, darts, mini golf, aerobics, aqua gym, jacuzzi, open air swimming pool for adults & children with hammocks and childrens play area. There is also animation programme for adults & children including Spanish night with flamenco show and more.
