"The hotel was very clean but quite basic and they kept running out of bath towels! Food was ok, breakfast could have done with more variety of cereals and fruit.Staff were friendly, in particular the entertainment staff Adam and Fiona who made a real effort to get to know the guests during there stay and worked tirelessly to entertain us despite it being a fairly quiet spell.
The airport transfers were late both ends so wouldnt use them again, and the price of food and drinks is high now its the Euro.
On the whole very enjoyable holiday and weather was great."

"We stayed at the Antigoni Hotel from 30 Aug 08 for a week. The hotel's location is perfect if you want to be situated near the main strip of protaras. The hotel main entrance is access via the top road, however if you want to get to the strip where all the bars and restaurants are situated then there are paths from the pool area which take you directly to it. Would definitely recommend protaras, lots of bars & restaurants which cater for couples, family & large groups. The hotel is towards the top end of the strip near MacDonalds, Fig Tree Bay was about a 15 minutes walk down the strip. The bars seem to stay open until 2-3 am, but there are also a couple of discos. The hotel itself was very clean and rooms were cleaned everyday and towels changes every couple of days. We stayed half board, the restaurant was nice, generally food was good but did get a bid fed up of similarly stuff, but that happens with most hotels I think! There was different themed food nights, from carvery, italian, mediterranean, greek etc. All in all a very good holiday, we are planning to go again next year but will probably stay self catering to visit the various resturants, therefore will try different accommodation."

"Thought the Hotel was in great location - Just a stone throw away from all of Protaras' night life and beaches.

Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Rooms were prepared nicely every day and the swimming pool was a nice large size.

My only fault of this hotel was that the rooms air conditioning unit was absolutely terrible! On it's coldest setting it blew out slightly cooler air than room temperature. Both my partner and I agree now that we should have asked to be re-located to another room but didn't. (Which the hotel can not be blamed for...) We discovered on the last day that another room on the same floor was much cooler and that there must have just been a problem with our room. However, I can not guarantee this and as a result would choose to stay elsewhere next time I'm in Protaras (I go every year).

Other than the air con, the hotel was very nice and the food was also very good. I would reccommend going all inclusive when you get there for an extra £25 (euros) per week as the lunch menu was great... (Which is obviously not included in the half-board fee) Drinks are also quite expensive!

Without air conditioning problems, I would recommend the Antigoni Hotel unreservedly and give it a 9/10, however based on my personal stay there with the unacceptable air-con, I'd give it 6or7/10.

"The hotel was fab. The staff (all but 1) were friendly and approachable. The one I refer to has actually been sacked as were were not the only ones to complain over the past few months! We actually upgraded to fully inc. whilst there and it was brilliant. We stayed around the pool and enjoyed the sun, drink and food for six wonderful days. The flights to and from Larnaka were also exceptionally good."

"lovely hotel would have given higher star rating, excellent food, near to all amenities but set back from noise,swimming pool was large with pleanty of sun beds and sun on it all day ,staff lovely very polite and helpfull, would definitely go back to antigoni hotel again."

"the hotel facilities were very good. Pool area very clean. Being on bed and breakfast, i can only comment on the breakfasts which were very good. Lunch time meals were good as well. The down side was that the maid service was very poor. Sheets were not changed at all in the 11 days that we were there. the carpet was not hoovered at all.
Indoor pool and gym was very good.
the hotel was in a good location and we thouroughly enjoyed the holiday."

"lovely hotel. great pool and fairly decent views. the room we were given was very large although a bit drab, but perfectly acceptable for our stay. the only gripe was the food, it was always the same although it had a different title every day, and so was quite unenjoyable."

"Nice easy and relaxed pick up at Larnaca airport, a stress free hotel check in and also got upgraded to a nice sea view room ( a special thank you to your TR telesales lady who asked me for any special requests and suggested I tell them it was my 50th birthday while I was there...( it was, really..)
Room was lovely. View was terrific. Pool was huge ,clean, with a safe non-slippery surround, breakfast was well cooked and plentiful.
No idea about the bar and entertainment as we were never in....but the Bulgarian cleaning ladies were hilarious even though i have no idea what they said.

All in all a top holiday, my first but not my last booked on the internet so thank you TR, all went as planned and you have a very brown and satisfied new client."

"the Antigoni is ideally situated, its a short walk to the bars, and nightlife
the beach was a 10 mins walk away,
you have a wide selection of food available to suit most peoples taste, and with a 14 year old son who is a fussy eater this is usually a hard task
the only downside for me is that there wasnt a lot going on through the day to keep the kids amused especially round the pool"
