"This is the second year that we have returned to Santa Susanna as a family of 8 (4 adults and 4 children). We highly recommend it , particularly if you can ignore the rest of europe who can't seem to queue as well as us British !! We have stayed at the Aquamarina twice, and would highly recommend it if you are adults with young children who want a holiday yourselves (if you know what I mean), the children are entertained all day long. Santa Susanna is lovely and Barcelona is within easy reach."
"We stayed here for a week, from 29th May to the 5th June 2008, my friend and I and our children aged 7, 4 (nearly 5), 4 and 2. A great hotel, rooms lovely and spotless. The whole hotel overall is spotless and modern. Very curtious and helpful staff throughout the whole hotel. The hotel run childrens club and mini disco is excellent for little ones (we went with four children seven years and under) and the entertainment staff have so much energy! I was weary from reading previous reviews about the food, but found the food choice fantastic, there were no queues as previously descibed and plenty of choice, even for me being a veggie! The pool was clean and the little ones loved the childrens pool, there was aqua aerobics for those who wanted to join in. Will be going back next year. "
"The bar and dinning staff were excelent. Very friendly and helpful. But the Hotel catered mainly for the french and german client. The parking would have been good, however it was full. I was never offered a parking space again even when ones became available. My son and I wanted to use the tennis court but found the 9.5euro an hour price a little high. It was only used once our holiday by other guests. What a waste of a facility. The childrens club was good, but when my son wanted to play table tennis, they had no balls, so I bought the hotel a box of them for just 3euros. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. We had a sea view and a terrace. The Hotels entertainment was good. However the french and germans took over. The reception staff were always busy. Their english was not good but their german and french was excellent. I just didnt bother asking them anything. The hotel was a little too big but the stay was made very comfortable by the excellent cleaning,dinning and bar staff who were all looking forward to a well earned break. "There was some confusion when we arrived on 08/09/07. The hotel had us booked in for 09/09/07 but that was quickly sorted out. Hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was what we expected from a 3star buffet hotel restaurant[ plenty of salads, breads, meats etc.] We always had a good choice of dishes and you could eat as much as you liked. No complaints except on a few occasions we had to queue in the restaurant, but the queue moved reasonably quickly."
"I took my Nan who is 86 to the Aquamarina in Santa Susana, I we had a great time, I couldn't have asked for anything better, my nan had never been abroad before and I took her for just 3 days to get away from the English weather and she had a really great time, and is still talking about it now. The hotel was very clean the food was excellent, especially as it is quite a large hotel and has to cater for a large number of holiday makers but they did this very well. The hotel is situated in an ideal location with shops and resturants a short walk away and the beach is just across the road. We also booked our transfers with travel republic and again had no problems with the journey to and from the airport to the hotel, it all went very smoothly and are looking forward to going again."

"An enjoyable holiday at Aquaramina.Hotel clean,good food,good location,staff helpful and courtious,facilities good for all ages.Evening entertainment poor but not detrimental to holiday.Very good value for money. Only downside was that the first three nights were noisy due to a large group of Belgian students.However we feel the staff would have relocated us if requested"
