"Appartment very well equiped and clean, however as a hotel general standard was only average (would only rate as 2/3*) Food was good on the whole but breakfast was poor. Entertainment very poor. Staff very pleasant and helpful. A lot of areas were in need of re-decoration. "
"We had a fantastic stay! We arrived at 1AM and were greeted by a very nice friendly night receptionist who gave us a glass of orange juice while he booked us in, a welcomed treat after the flight! The rooms were great, we stayed in the 1 bedroom apt, which had all you needed and the lounge and bedroom were air conditioned - you really need this. The room was very clean and tidy and was serviced on nearly a daily basis ( I think only one day it wasn't in a weeks stay). The pool are was lovely, with views to the sea. It had 2 great pools, a small children's pool and a larger one on a lower level. The larger of the pools wasn't too deep, maximum depth 1.8m, great for anyone that doesn't like to swim in deep water. There was daily entertainment, including a Darts and Pool tournament. There was loud music played poolside in the afternoon, sometimes it was quite repetitive, but we managed to get them to turn it down, and if was only for 2 hrs. The evening entrainment was okay. We went in low season so i don't know if it'd be different in the height of summer. I consisted of a quiz and bingo. Some evenings they had dancers, singers, and a magician. We were self catering so i can't comment on the food too much. We did have breakfast on the first day, it was OK but expensive. We ate at the poolside bar a couple of times, that was really nice and served a good variety of food. There is a very steep slope / hill up to the main resort area, not good if you're not able bodied!!! The resort centre itself is really nice. This quite small, consisting of a main road and a side street. There were about a dozen restaurants, some shops and a few bars. I really liked it, but I'm not one for huge resorts. The beach by the hotel isn't anything special, but there is a nice sandy beach down the hill on the main road in the resort. There is a bus you can catch and a car park if you've hired a car...it's quite a trek there from the hotel, and you've got a few hills to deal with! Overall we really enjoyed our stay in the Aqua Sol Tourist Village, and we'd like to go back some day A***** "
"This hotel is in no way 4*.The pools are nice, but the location is terrible.The hotel is situated at a bottom of a steep slope, next to a construction site. The hotel falls into 3 star category . The staff appeared to be rude and unpleasant. The breakfast and lunch were basic. The dinner was average."
