"sorry to say but the beds are rock hard as are the pillows, only booksea side room otherwise you will be kept awake all night by traffic."

"we have just returned from a 2 weeks stay at the argassi beach hotel, the hotel is a bit run down, and although the cleaner came in our room every day , most days she only left a loo roll and empy ed bin in bathroom . the water in shower was hot all the time but shower curtain did not fit so puddles on the floor every time we had a shower. breakfast was not good cold eggs every day. but the veiw from our room was great . sea veiw, there were only about 6 rooms with guests, so i guess hotel is not very pop[uler. but the price we paid was very cheap so i guess you get what you pay for."
Top Tip:
"get the curtusy bus to st nickalas beach. its lovely but too far 2 walk.and tsilivi beach , is great also laganas and kalamaki beach , argassi beacg is the only one that is no good, would not return to argassi for that reson/ one last thing the boat trip to the shipwreck and turtle beach is really good and well worth going. and greek night was very good too, HAVE FUN,"

"The argassi beach hotel is a vey nice hotel with great views of the sea, the staff were all very helpful and helped make our stay there great. the sectioned area of the sea they have on the beach made it safe for my 2 year old grandson to play."

"On arrival I requested air-conditioning and a safety deposit box. I expected to pay for the air con and a returnable deposit for the safety deposit. I was told there was a fridge in the room also. So the air-con was 40 euros, the safety deposit 35 euros and the fridge 35 euros. ! total of 110 euros on arrival!
The hotel was run down, but clean and friendly and is now only 2 star rating by the way.
I had to pay 5 euros to the hotel owners ( 87 years old!) for the use of 2 sunbeds
and parasol on the beach directly in front of the hotel. The snack bar was manned only if you could find the owner!
The day we left I went to return the safety deposit key and get my deposit of 35 euros. I was to find out for the first time in all the hotels all over the world I have been to that this was not returnable! A big argument could have occurred, but we were leaving and I had to forfeit the 35 euros. I was not pleased!
Overall, I would NOT recommend this hotel. Even though as I said it was clean and friendly the bathroom was very poor and you could hear EVERYTHING in the neighbouring rooms and as there were only 6 rooms being used we were all clumped next to one and other! The rooms were VERY small.
But we love Zante! But will stay somewhere else next time!"

The Argassi Beach Hotel stands by the sea at Argassi on the island of Zakynthos, one of the most beautiful in the Ionian Island group and is ideally sited between the shore and the mountains. The management and staff do their best to ensure guests have a wonderful time.

Its spacious rooms provide all the amenities needed for a pleasant, comfortable stay including en suite bathrooms, modern furniture and decoration, telephone services, air-conditioning, fridge and magnificent views overlooking the sea.

The hotel has a beach bar and bar facilities inside the building. Breakfast is self-service from a well stocked buffet.

There is a 24hour reception, exchange service, private parking and TV lounge on the premises. Also, sun beds and umbrellas are available on the beach.
