Sian from Guernsey reviewed the Arimar Apartments
"The cleaning staff were friendly but unfortunately did not leave clean towels unless asked for and didn't clean very well. The reception staff were rude and unhelpful. The hot water lasted for 30 seconds! The noise from Puerto Rico does not die down until the early hours of the morning so if you are going for a peaceful relaxing holiday do not stay at this apartment or any other close to Puerto Rico. Also a few simple appliances like a kettle in the apartment would have been nice."
Top Tip:
"Amores beach which is about 20-30 minute walk was beautiful and clean and safe."
Jane Patricia from Knighton reviewed the Arimar Apartments
"Still problems obtaining keys for apartment on arrival. Hotel knew we were arriving early morning. Telephone number for key is on reception door, so take euros to use the phone. However still problems contacting anyone. Took half an hour with help from our taxi driver. Also check out time is 12pm but our flight was not till early next morning. Had to give room back, no courtesy room available and our suitcases could only be left with reception until 7pm as that was what time they shut. Luckily another family let us use their apartment, but very unsatisfactory - especially when you have kids."
victoria from south gloustershire reviewed the Arimar Apartments
"The hotel was fantastic, the 2 ladies from the pool bar (forgot the names sorry) were extremely helpful, lovely and made it a pleasure staying there. It was very close to everything (beach, shops etc.) but also a few minutes away so it was peaceful and chilled throughout the day. Will definately be going back there..."

"There was a restaurant which we went into EVERY night.....but i can't remember what it was called. The man who served us always made jokes and they were all lovely people"
"Some of the rooms are looking a little bit well worn. Restricted reception hours meant we had a half hour wait at 11pm to get into the apartment after travelling all day. There is quite a lot of late night noise that comes the Euro shopping centre down in the bottom of the resort. The apartments at the higher level behind the pool area are the best for views and are a lot quieter.

Top Tip:
"Go to Amaodores beach around the corner. Although quite crowded, even in March, it is much cleaner and has a better atmosphere than the beach in Puerto Rico itself. "
Garry from Weston super Mare reviewed the Arimar Apartments
"It would have been above average, but the front door on apartment 3 is really tempermental, the latch only opens if you unlock it in a certain way. The staff at the complex were really friendly, and helpful sending maintenance down to try to fix it (really I think it needed a whole new mortis). Also the shower lasts for a very short amount of time, fine for my partner and I but anyone wanting a long shower would not have been able too. The maids didn't come too early, and were really friendly when we asked just for clean linen. The apartments had plenty of space, and were very comfortable."
Top Tip:
"Local bars in the shopping centre that are friendly are Tropicana, 69, La Fiesta, and Bora Bora. Good restaurants include, Happy Valley Indian in the centre, Don Quijote underneath Portonovo & Il Molino Italian in El Greco.
Puerto Mogan was lovely, especially on a Friday when the Market is on. "
David from Abingdon reviewed the Arimar Apartments
"The apartment was great value for money. basic, but clean with all we needed. Just far enough away from the many bars, cafes resturants etc to enjoy a nights sleep, but close enough to walk down to enjoy them. Reception could be open more hours but not a problem. Beach is great will plenty of sun beds.
A place to return to for an enjoyable cheap break. "

"A lovely 20min stroll around the coastal path to Amadoras beach"
mark from ballymena reviewed the Arimar Apartments
"Basic Apartments could do with some more warm water in the mornings. Good overall experience handy to amenities and the staff at the bar/pool bar were excellent. Made to feel at home with a warm reception and also do an excellent BBQ on a Monday."
sharon from Cwmbran reviewed the Arimar Apartments
"Was very good value for money but was very disapointed as i booked it for 2 days, as i was not due to get there untill about 6.00 am when i arrived it was closed and on the door it said the opening times was 9.00am which meant that i had to sit outside for 3 hours before i could get into my room as you can appreciate this caused myself severe discomfort as i was very tired."
