John from Norwich reviewed the Arizona Bungalow Complex Hotel
"We went as a familywith my 9 month baby. This hotel was in a great location, it was a stone throw away from shops, bars and resturants. Best of all not climbing steps or hills!
The rooms were lovely, it was like a 2 bedroomed terrace house with your own from garden which had all flowers. This has been our 2nd time here and we'rd go again."

"We stayed at the bungalows in April 2008, i found them very spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 toilets. The only thing we had a problem with was when we arrived the taxi dropped us off at the bottom of the complex and we had difficulties finding the reception my partner managed to get through one of the doors as a couple was coming out, but once entering the complex he couldn't get out. I had to get a taxi that was passing by to take me to the reception. Where i could finally let him out as the reception was out side the complex.
I would defiantly stay there again, it was a great location with just 1 flight of steps to get the centre and about 10 mins walk to beach. As it was quiet time there wasn't too much noise. We often could here the music still going though when we got in though. That went on till about 4am.

"It's the 3rd time i've been to Gran Canaria and it's great for food, drink and sun. I recommend San Magells in the main centre, the Steak Grill place in the europa centre you'll be able to smell the flame smoke grill when passing but they are the best steaks, fat cats on Puerto Rico beach for a good breakfast, also try Amadores beach which is a 20mins walk along the coast and Anfi in a short taxi ride away.

JULIE MARIE from NEWQUAY reviewed the Arizona Bungalow Complex Hotel
"The appartment was clean and we were provided with limited cooking utensils and 2 hob cooker; no microwave or oven, cork screw no good! Adequate though, you got by.
The cleaner came and cleaned and brought clean towels and tea towel which was good. The appartment was near facilities and 10/15 mins from beach. Swimming pool and pool side music good and snacks ok. Young group staying next door were very noisy - music, walking about all night long (with heels, which echoed on the tiles and disturbed us). The noise from the clubs was unbelievablly loud and being so near and keeping windows closed despite heat didnt block it out. I often go clubbing in my home town and used to loud music but this was noise pollution big time! Although the apartment was ok and clean, i wouldnt take young family/children and wouldnt go there again due to the noise level, especially during the early hours (also the noise of the clubbers leaving - drunk, shouting abuse and sometimes arguing, etc."

"Renates restaurant on the beach. Lovely staff, good food, singer lovely and good to listen to. Prices - very good value for money. Did a great deal for the kids - kids meal plus icecream (tiny portion but we didnt mind that) - with sparklers in it, for about 3 euros. I had 2 lovely meals there and the portions were just right and the food lovely."

Anna from Chester reviewed the Arizona Bungalow Complex Hotel
"The apartment was perfect for our needs. Couple of minutes from restaurants, pubs etc and under 10 mins (very nice walk through park) to Beach. You can hear music at night time from the shopping centre but it didn't bother us personally. Not great for pushchairs/wheel chairs due to location on hill side but spectacular views and massive terraces to sit out on and enjoy a glass of wine. Rooms big and clean."
Top Tip:
"Try a 20 minute walk round the coastal paths and you'll find other nice beaches."

"We arrived at arizona about 10 in the evening and was impressed straight away the reception man could not speak very good english but still did his best and showed us to our apartment straight away. When we entered the bungalow we was suprised to see how big it was espeacially when there was only me and my partner staying there it had two floors, two bedrooms, two bathrooms a good kitchen, living room and a spacious patio and balcony. Also all the apartments are on the side of a hill so the views are amazing!!
The pool was beautiful and suprisingly warm all day long and the poor bar did great food and a wide range of drinks for a reasonable price and the staff couldn't have been more friendly.
Me and my partner are definatley going back!!

"The bungalow apartment we had at the Arizona was drab & dull & when having a shower the water was always freezing cold towards the end.
Also, the swimming pool is far too small for 92 x two bedroomed bungalows & there are not enough sunbeds.

"Apartments were very spacious and cleaned regularly during our stay. We found all staff we encountered to be helpful and friendly.
The Arizona Apartments are in a great location, close to the resort centre, and only 5 - 10 minutes walk to the beach."

"The Arizona is very well placed for the beach and town center being nearly on the same level, the rooms are of a decent size although ours had a real problem with ants they were in every room including the wardrobes. The pool is good and the snack bar excellent. "

"Basic but spacious and clean, maid service twice during the week. All the apartments have a private little garden area to sit out and enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine. The gardens are west facing so get the sun in the afternoon and evening. Settees and curtains could do with replacing. A little bit of noise from the commercial centre at nights but we were out till late most nights so it wasn't a problem for us. I would definitely go back as the location is second only to the Boston apartments. "

"THE HOTEL WAS SITUATED IN A GREAT PLACE. BUT WHEN WE ARRIVED OUR ROOM WAS NOT READY WE WERE NOT ON THE LIST FOR ARRIVALS AND RECEPTION WAS CLOSED. WE THEN HAD TO GO TO OMAR HOTEL TO FIND OUR ROOM WAS NOT READY. THE LADY ON RECEPTION ON OMAR GIVE US KEYS TO GET IN ARIZONA BECAUSE ALL ENTRYS WERE LOCKED, THIS IS A GOOD THING IF THE KEY WORKED BUT IT DIDNT! IT WOULD WORK ON SOME GATES BUT NOT OTHERS. SO WE WERE FINDING WE WERE EITHER LOCKED IN OUR OUT. ALSO THERE WAS ONLY ONE SET SO THIS WAS A BIG PROBLEM IF THE 4 OF US DIDNT WANT TO GO OUT TOGETHER.
OVERALL I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN FOR WHERE IT WAS SITUATED, BUT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE KEYS FOR THE GATES AND ALSO RECEPTION NEEDS TO BE OPEN MORE ESPECIALY WHEN THERE ARE NEW ARRIVALS!"

"Good location with pleasantly laid out accomodation. Good rooms by the pool, with a short walk into town. A bit like a prison camp with the security fence and locking gates, but all the surrounding complexes have the same system. The complex and resort were fairly quiet, but this is was due to the time of year (late november).I would expect a lot more noise in summer. Car parking is on the road and will be in short supply if all the bungalows are occupied."

"The Arizona Bungalows were clean and tidy and certainly more than adequate size-wise for our needs. However, the noise in the nights from the nearby shopping centre housing numerous bars was horrendous. The disco's didn't close until 3.30 after which the general people noise continued for at least 1/2 hour. I had noticed other comments regarding this before we booked which I should obviously have taken more notice of.
I also think it would be an idea if where possible the management try to accomodate people of similar age groups close to each other as we were surrounded by youngsters who were retiring to bed as we were getting up,
having chatted and partied all night.
This experience has taught me to take particular note of previous clients feedback."
