"We stayed at the Artemis Hotel, Protaras, Cyprus and this was our second stay. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, expecially those on reception. We only used the hotel as a bas as our son and daughter-in-law live in Pernera. We would use Travel Republic again and will recomment the company to both family and friends - again very helpful when we telephoned with a query.

"Firstly i would like to compliment TRAVELREPUBLIC for the service they provided us. We got the best price, booking online was easy and quick and confirmation emails arrived straight away. We had one query which was answered quickly and politely by a member of customer services. I would be happy to book through TRAVELREPUBLIC again.

Hotel:

Horrible. This hotel has seen better days. Rooms have old furniture, cracked tiles and dirty bathrooms. No TV in room, i know you don't go on holiday to watch TV but it can be very helpful to keep the kids entertained for the odd half hour. We spent as little time as possible in the room.

Food is disgusting. We were All Inclusive so we did try to eat at the hotel. Everything is Buffet style and kept luke warm for up to 3 hours at a time. If food runs out it is often not replaced so you need to be there early to gaurantee full choice. Most dishes were made with poor quality cheap meat etc. Leftover food from Lunch is often reheated for the evening meal or used in a different recipe - vegetables being a good example of this. All Inclusive snacks are not freshly prepared, leftovers from breakfast make up the morning snack menu, chips, beans, toasties all kept warm in a small room by the pool for up to 4 hours, it's self service. The room is covered with ants SNACKS = HEALTH HAZARD in this place.

Drinks. All watered down, as a result everything is tastless it's a complete waste of time. Bottled water is not included you have to pay for it - bit of a con for AI guests.

Pool. Was not cleaned once in the two weeks we atayed there. You could feel the dirt on the soles of your feet if you were standing in the pool.

Staff. Miserable and not interested not helpful.

I could go on and on about this place. In a nutshell - despite having paid for a 2 week AI holiday we gave up on the hotel after the 5th day. We spent our days at the beach away from the pool and ate all our meals out of the hotel

Avoid the Artemis. It's a nightmare."

"the apartment was extremely clean & the facilities were perfect for my needs, the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, i would definitely book back in the same apartments next time i go to cyprus!"
