"Amsterdam is well worth visiting and the locals are very friendly and helpful.
A more detailed map of the hotel and surrounding area would've been handy so that we knew exactly where to go when getting off the 195 bus from the airport and also how far to walk to get to the tram stop."
Top Tip:
"Top tip - ask the hotel if you can buy a daily tram pass from thhe reception. I think these cost around 10 euros. We weren't told about them (by English people we met on the tram) until it was too late and we'd spent out on individual tram rides around the city."

Hotel Details - Artemis Amsterdam Hotel

The large, stylish, modern Artemis Hotel Amsterdam is located in a business park between Schipol Airport and the city centre, evidently geared towards the business traveller, yet with plenty to offer the leisure traveller too. Spacious, contemporary style bedrooms are fashionably decorated in creams and browns and are far larger than the majority of city centre alternatives. The impressive lobby leads on to a more intimate dining and bar area. The city centre can be reached in approximately 15 minutes with nearby public transport, so this is a great budget alternative for those preferring not to compromise on quality.

Airport:
Airport shuttle bus stops in front of hotel. Once outside airport terminal, a green bus shuttle service operated by "Connections" will stop in front of the hotel Artemis during its route - please ask the driver to advise correct stop (

takes approx 30-45 mins from airport ) - cost is approx 11 Euros. To book a return shuttle trip, please ask at the hotel reception desk prior to your departure date.
