"The room was large and light, no criticism. However, we had booked a Junior Suite (thinking that this was 2 rooms, or at lease subdivided) and were dismayed to find we were all sleeping in 1 room. The buffet breakfast and evening meals were good, plenty of choice and quality The indoor pool and children's club were great assets, as the weather was fairly cold (May). Most of the other guests were German, which was alittle isolating (though they were very polite). We could have done with some help with arranging excusions from the hotel - we were just advised to phone local travel agents. We would also have found it very helpful to have directions to the hotel (which is beside the motorway, near Marbella) as it to ages to sort out the correct exit."

"Perfectly situated near to the Cathedral and within walking distance of everything woth seeing. First stayed here 17 years ago when it was a modest family hotel albeit in a magnificent period town house setting. New owners have lavished attention and no expense spared. A great hotel in a charming city."
"The hotel does not have a lift to get to the swimming pools or to the room for the buffet meals which was a problem with pushchairs."
"An enjoyable stay at hotel - a car however is a must - hotel is in a residential part and very few shops etc. A real european feel in people staying at hotel - mainly spanish, french and italians - few english and fewer scots!! "
"The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. The food was first class and there was plenty to do on our stay here. The only bad point was the beach near the hotel, it could have done with a good clean up. The entertainment supplied by the hotel each night was very entertaining. On the whole the holiday was very good and we would go again. Chris Stone"
