"Only problem we found was that the breakfast served at the village wasnt of best quality. Sausages are a big no no. But Staff were friendly. rooms were very clean and if you asked for your room to be made up they did a great job. fresh towels every day. BBC 1,23, ITV and CBBC channels on the tv. Managed to catch wimbledon!! very helpful and nice to watch rather than sky news when the sun got too much. good room facilities, full equiped kitchen, except washing up liquid or cloths which could be helpful. Overall very pleased with my stay and would definitely return. "
"The apartments were very spacious and clean. Only issue was that the only bathroom access is through the bedroom - could be problematic if using the sitting room as a bedroom. Lovely pool area and good facilities."
"The complex was clean and ideal for us. Pleanty of room and although there were small children they had their own area and were not over powering. However I do wonder what it will be like in the height of the season. The entertainment needed a bit more of a polish but again I would think this would happen as the season went on."

"The Avanti Village met and exceeded our expectations. As a family of 4, with 2 young children, the facilities were perfect and provided everything we needed to have a memorable holiday. The location was superb as we were close to lots of good restaurants and within a short walk of a good beach, although we found the pool, play area and pool bar a great place to spend the whole day. Paphos harbour is only a 20 minute walk or 5 minute (and 5 pounds) taxi ride away if you want more choice."

"i would not have agreed that the avanti village was a 4 star,the bed linen was dirty with bad stains on the top covers which are clearly visible, but nobody changed them the whole 14nights we were there.the sheets where only changed twice the 14 nights we were there."

"The complex was really lovely, however the lack of entertainment lets it down slightly, also, it states that the complex is 150meters from the beach, what it does not state is that they are rock beaches, you cant go and sunbathe on them, and there is no sand. the nearest beach was 10 minute walk away and was very small and i have to say rather untidy. The next beaxh is coral bay beach, which is 25 minute taxi ride away, and this was much better, but again rather untidy. With this in mind, I would not go back to Paphos as a nice near by beach is important to me. The Avanti Village is very nice, but you had to get up at the crack of dawn to get a sunbed around the pool, as there was not a decent beach, it is even more important you can get a decent spot by the pool, as we had a young child. Apart from these things i had a really nice time. "
"We had a downstairs apartment on the edge of the resort overlooking fields...lovely, most apartments don't and are very close to each other, we would have found that unbearable. Request an apartment overlooking the field when you book. Apartment were clean and acceptable, air-con was great. The apartment lacked some essentials, we did not have pillows for the first 3 days, and kitchen utensils were sadly lacking, thankfully we did not cook in the apartment. The pool area and activities during the day were good, but the evening entertainment and facilities were not up to scratch. The location was OK if you don't mind a 20 min walk to Paphos Harbour (which was,nt much to shout about anyway) but the local beach was absolutely disgusting, fag buts everywhere and sand like builders gravel...yuk. If you want a holiday with gauranteed sunshine and to lie by the pool all day this is your place. Food at the Avanti Hotel was OK but generally offered the same fare each night apart from a few changed mains. LASTLY TAKE LOTS OF DOSH...CYPRUS IS AS EXPENSIVE AS UK IF NOT MORE SO"
"The Avanti Hotel restaurant was very popular, excellant food but the sevice was poor. The Avanti Village was good, breakfast was excellant. The pool clean too."
"Apartments were adequate although I would not say worthy of a 4 star rating; possibly 3 star. Pool area was very busy and difficult to get sunbeds due to people reserving from early morning. Evening entertainment poor and hotel staff were certainly not over friendly. Paphos harbour was smaller than expected and restaurants extremely busy (poor service). Pathos Waterpark was good and well organised."
