"Have stayed 3 times at Barcelo Lanzarote Teguise. Bar staff work very hard to please but can be a bit grumpy under pressure. AI guests have to wait to be served at busy times. Entertainment is generally very good. Overall a good holiday."
Top Tip:
"Small beach 10 minute walk away. Small supermarket / gift shop just outside is handy."

"The cleanliness of the hotel in some of the public areas left a lot to be desired.
The pool bar / snack bar was too cramped with very little area to move around.
Entertainment team were always busy trying to get people involved and did quite a good job.
The food in the restaurant was generally quite good and most of the staff were pleasant and efficient.
Overall a reasonable hotel."

"The hotel staff were fantastic. The entertainment in the hotel along with the kids club and staff were one of the best that we have seen. The meals in the hotel were great.
The only negative point on the hotel was that the hotel its-self could do with a revamp. It could do with a paint and the broken tiles on stairs, etc need to be replaced.
All in all this hotel was excellent and we did not want to leave."

"had a fantastic holiday at the bercelo hotel!! the rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh towels were left.The food was also very good but as with all inclusive you can get a bit fed up with it after 10 days. the first eleven days the hotel was not full so there were no queues at the snack bar or at the entertainment bar and the staff all worked very hard. Unfortunatley the last few days the hotel was full and it appeared that they could have done with more staff on. the animation team were fantastic and the kids had a fantastic time at the kids club.must say that the kids club was one of the best i have seen and we have been on holiday with our kids every year. we are considering returning to this hotel again next year."

"The Hotel was very good, it was clean and tidy and had great entertainment for young and old both day and night. The only thing that let the hotel down was the food, it was a bit hit and miss most evenings. Having said that i would go back to the hotel again as we had a great time and my young children said it was the best holiday they have had."

"Hire a car to get around the island, we hired a seven seater from Autorisen which only cost 105 euros. "

"hotel was very good so was food ,but could do with i bit more meat veriety. its a bit of a distance to bars and resteraunts but only 3 euro 50 cents in a taxi to centre of resort."

"last minute travel do some great trips much cheaper than the tour reps charge.
the snug is a great little irish bar in the square where they have a flee market on a friday night. go by taxi to teguise market on sundays its very good.
cesar 2 is a really good trip to fuerteventura includes trip to beach/shops and stop off on return to do water sports etc well worth the money."

"We had a fab holiday at the end of April. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The room was big with enough storage. The pool areas were very clean and tidy. The hotel itself was not in the centre of Costa Teguise but we just got a taxi for around 3 euros which wasn't a problem. The restaurant was great with a lovely waterfall in it. There was a slight smell of sewers as you went down to the restaurant but it didn't really bother us. The food was fine, it wasn't that hot if you went down for meals at 9pm but if you were there at 6ish it was. Would definately go back again. "

"Good pool areas and plenty of sunbeds. Large bedrooms. Thats the good bits!
Remote location, 40 mins walk to town along the promanade. Entertainment average, 3 good shows a week, but dancing only once a week. There's a piano in the bar, but no piano player!
The main thing that lets this hotel down is the restaurant and the food. If you like your food hot - forget it . Every night (14) we used the microwave to warm up the veg. etc. I would rate this hotel 3 stars and give it 5/10.

We found the food very much the same every day. The service in the bars was slow, however when we found minor faults in our room these were repaired immediately.

"We had a good holiday the Barcelo probably is more of a 3 than a 4 star hotel. We went all inclusive there was plenty of food on offer, but being buffet style often the hot food was cold. Another sticking point was the serving and bar staff were thin on the ground so be prepared to wait for being served. However it did the job there was some good entertainment, clean hotel, and a lovely new year celebrations. "

"We arrived at midnight,.Food and drink was available which was an excellent start to the hoiday and gave us an excellent impression right away. we were then impressed with the rooms, the cleanliness and the small welcoming touches. The food was well above average and so was the entertainment both during the day and at nightime. The staff were polite and professional. The cleaning lady who attended to our rooms was lovely and left personal touches. (rooms 4214,4215). Our week was over far too quickly. We have been all inclusive several times in all different countries and WILL RETURN to Barcelo through travel republic as it was the best yet."
Top Tip:
"Make use of the courtesy bus avaliable at the hotel to take you into the centre of town, it runs every half an hour till late afternoon. The driver is really nice and helpfull."

"The hotel was great, food excellent, staff helpful. We went with 3 boys, 2 aged 16 & 1 aged 13. Everyone had a fantastic time. We went All Inclusive for the first time and would do it again. It is a bit away from everything but there was enough going on in the hotel. The entertainment staff were very good especially with day time activities. We would go back to this hotel again, good service."

"Went to Teguise Market on the Sunday, it was ok nothing special, same old things being sold."

"Hotel a bit run down in parts, tiles missing of stairs etc, and very remote, another hotel across the road and thats all for another ten minutes walk to reach a bar, but everything at the hotel if you dont want to leave complex for a week, or 3 euros into town in taxi, bar at hotel closes at 1am so if you are nite owls, this is not the place, food a bit repetative but ok, catered more for other naitionalities."

"The hotel overall was of a good standard, food and drink were excellent with plenty of choice. Some of the staff were a little rude at times although this did not spoil our holiday.
The hotel is slightly out of the way with no bars or restaurants close by, a taxi to the main resort is only 4 euro's or it takes approx 40 mins to walk along the sea front."
