"Me and the wife went half board for two weeks (July 08).The hotel is very much a Spanish hotel (95%) all the entertainment at night was mostly in Spanish, there are just a handful of Brits stay here. The rooms were nice as were the staff, especially Michael(Migel) one of the managers he was always smiling and made sure you had a comfortable stay (Quite a hit with the few British girls). The hotel is right on the beach(excellent) but it is a taxi ride to get into Fuengirola. The food was very good but after a week we were dying for a chinese as the food was the exactly the same every night. The hotel is not really for british families or the young team, but saying that it is a lovely hotel, i would return!!

"This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. Definitely of good 4* rating. Rooms large and clean with lovely bathrooms. We stayed B&B and the food at breakfast was excellent. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool and no having to get up early to get one!!! It is 15 minutes walk to the edge of Fuengirola but nearer to 30 minutes to the centre. "
"excellent Hotel, lovely food selection for breakfast and dinner. The hotel offered Cava every morning and the food was always fresh and different. The location is excellent as you are down the quiet end of the resort and can wander along the beach for some fresh sardines at lunch. The hotel spa is worth a visit and the rooms are spacious and clean. The bad comment we can make is the level of noise, we found it noisey at weekends due to the thinness of the walls. All rooms are sea view so I guess the trade up is noise level, well worth it in our opinion."
Top Tip:
"visit the local beach restaurants for great BBQ sardines."

"The Beatriz Palace Hotel was superb. The service was impeccable. Food was good and varied, we were never disappointed.
The whole buildings were very clean and the staff were very polite.
We would certainly return."
"The Hotel was absolutely beautiful and the rooms were spacious and clean.
The pool was perfect for adults and children and ideal for families.
The beach was right next to the pool with sun loungers and shades avaliable at a very cheap price with complimentary water.
The pool retaurant and bar was pricey but offered fantastic quality food."
Top Tip:
"The beach restaurant right next to the Hotel offered fantastic food at a very reasonable price and the service was excellent and like all our experiences, the people were friendly and helpful."
A from Newton Longville reviewed the Beatriz Palace
"we visited the hotel in april and were pleased with the facilities. however, when we were out there, one of the bars was closed, the children's games room was closed - this was something we had specifically asked about and something that would have been most useful on the colder days, and one of the restaurants was also closed for much of the week. we had also been told that there would be family entertainment 3x/week - we only saw this once in our 6 day stay.
the staff on reception were very helpful.
the rooms were excellent and housekeeping also excellent.
food was very good.
we were a large party of 33 and some of the families would have really benefited from the other facilities being open, so that made for a disappointing stay."

"there was a great water sports place run by english people in the harbour buildings in fuengirola."
lorraine from washington reviewed the Beatriz Palace
"Excellent hotel, very stylish and very clean. The food was fabulous and the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It is about a 15 minute walk to the centre of the town but this was a plus for us. Cant wait to stay there again. My 9 year old daughter loved it as well."
Top Tip:
"Watch out for thieves on motorbikes stealing handbags, and annoying women with "free scratchcards or festival tickets""
"Really nice hotel. We hired a car, might be a bit far to walk for older people wanting to go to the town centre. Beach was on the door step.
Food was excellent. Mijas, village on the hill, was lovely. Had a great holiday."
"Hotel very nice but a bit out of the way kept very clean and tidy. The restraurant was large and the service was very good, but the meals were a bit mutch to swallow.Breakfast was fine plenty to choose from, but dinner had me wondering each night if there was going to be a change. The menu at night varied from veal, veal stew, rabbit, sheep, sheepstew, and always paella. There was always soggy potatoes roast potatoes, never any chips vegtables were very scarce two choices only and everything wasn`t very hot, there was a choice of fish but most of it was full of bones and cold. The sweet menu was passable, but for a four star hotel left mutch to be desired, also charging four euro for a bottle of water, nearly three pounds twenty a bit pricey to put down tyhe pallet.Definately not recommended."
Top Tip:
"Beaches were fantastic kept very clean, but watch out for the time/share touts there at it again in fuengirola."
"The hotel was fantastic....but a bit far from the main resort 20-25min walk to the edge of town, but if ya like the walking, and the weathers great... the hotel is definitely worth it. fantastic place, great food and a very good choice of menu..reasonable bars..cannot complain at all. Would try it again....if ever went back to Fuengirola"
Top Tip:
"Nice shopping Mall close by....so my wife tells me, then there's always "El Corte Inglis", so take your cards!!!The hotel cannot be any closer to the sea, if thats what your looking for"
"This was our first visit to Beatriz Palace and we found it to live up to it's reputation. The hotel was spotless and the amenities and facilities were 1st class. The staff were helpful. It was a shame they could not make the weather better though!!!!"
Top Tip:
"Head for Fish Alley in Fuengirola and eat at the Rustica and Don Pi restaurants - shame restaurants in England cant prepare food to this standard."
"The hotel was gorgeous, although a little bit out of the way of all the pubs and restaurants, it was only a short taxi ride. The rooms were spacious and immaculate and towels were changed everyday. The restaurant, food and staff were all fantastic. The only drawback was that there wasn't very many British people staying there. We were in a party of 16 British who may have been a little bit louder than the rest of the guests (mostly german pensioners), but were by no means rowdy. However some of the other German guests saw fit to be blatantly rude by walking right up to us and staring at us!!"

"Bikini bar on the beach was literally in front of the hotel and was fantastic."
Linda from East Lothien reviewed the Beatriz Palace
"WE COULD NOT FAULT ANYTHING ABOUT THE HOTEL. ACCOMMODATION, STAFF, LOCATION(ALTHOUGH IT WAS A GOOD 15 MIN WALK INTO FUEGIROLA IT DID'NT MATTER AS WE KNEW THIS BEFORE WE CAME.)- JUST ONE SMALL POINT , MAYBE DURING THE QUIETER MONTHS IT MIGHT BE AN IDEA TO PUT ON SOME FORM OF LIGHT ENTERTAINMENT , AS NOT EVERYONE WOULD WANT TO HEAD INTO THE TOWN FOR THE EVENING. ALL IN ALL WE HAD AN EXCELLENT WEEK, & WOULD'NT HESITATE TO RETURN HERE OR RECCOMEND IT TO OTHERS."
"Although situated a good 20 min walk from Fuengirola, which we didn't mind, it was worth the exercise to stay at a quality hotel. Rooms large and pleasantly furbished, restaurant spotlessly clean serving a good choice (but if you like Kellogs for breakfast talk your own), ample parking. Would definitely go back."
