Michelle from Leeds reviewed the Beatriz Hotel and Spa
"I stayed at this hotel for a long weekend. Very peaceful and the Spa facilities were great. There's no need to get up at the crack of dawn to get a sunbed! There's more than enough to go round. One area for improvement would be the food, although not the worst hotel food I've had there's definitely room for improvement.

Andrew from Pannal reviewed the Beatriz Hotel and Spa
"Have stayed in this hotel before. It has recently been re-decorated and has new carpets throughout. Certainly 4 star standard but so are the bar prices! Stayed half board and food was first rate with plenty of choice to satisfy everyone.
Hotel is about a mile from the beach and bars and shops. It's a pleasant downhill walk there but would recommend a taxi back - they are cheap enough.
There are day time activities for the adults and a kids club for the younger ones."
Top Tip:
"Not near the hotel but a superb restaurant is La Aulaga. It is away from the centre of town but only a short walk along the seafront promenade. Get to Restaurant Vila Toledo on the seafront then walk across the car park to this restaurant."
Philip from Bingley reviewed the Beatriz Hotel and Spa

dawn from norwich reviewed the Beatriz Hotel and Spa
"we stayed at this hotel for 4 nights..it was a lovely hotel the staff were excellant, the food was good and the rooms were of good standard..the pool area was great with a nice surprise of a heated pool along with 2 others not heated, the spa is not to be missed wish we had used it more but enjoyed the 1 vist we did make (worth the 10 euros) treatments are priced at usual rates so might seem a bit expensive but worth being pampered..we did find the resort abit quite in the evenings so got the bus into Porto Carmen (3 euros) and taxi back late (30 euros) the beatriz is set back from the other hotels on hill but not to steep that you cant walk, it is about 10 min walk to beach but seems longer on way back (but then it always does) did find the waterfall in hotel beautiful if a little noisey and they did try hard at entertainment but as hotel was pretty quite for time of year we didnt stay to find out how good they were ..we would diffenatly come back to this hotel again "
Top Tip:
"the island was very friendly and you can be as restfull or as busy as you want most things are just a bus ride away and taxis are plentiful,,we didnt have airport transport just jumped in taxi (20 euros) to our hotel if you like live music try Mulligans on sea front in new town porto Carman..or good old fashioned irish pub mulligans in old town, both give you a warm welcome happy holidays"
Paul from Porthcawl reviewed the Beatriz Hotel and Spa
"Considering its 4T or Star, was only really up to standard of a 3T. Food was OK good veriety but always seemed cold. Rooms and overall get the feel it needs a lick of paint or a bit of TLC. Fabulous Pool, though poolside entertainment can be annoying if you want peaxce and quiet. Lots of Cigarette ends on floor around loungers by pool and never got swept the whole week we were there.
If they pull their finger out could be a fantastic hotel, lovely bars though nowhere to sit outdoors in the evenings. Gold Card is a must as drinks can get expensive."
Top Tip:
"Get a gold card which gets your evening drinks paid for (local beers, wine and vodka etc.) There is nothing within 15minute walk of hotel, no bars, shops or resteraunts, only the hotel bars and shops. Beach bus runs regularly though."
Nigel from Belfast reviewed the Beatriz Hotel and Spa
Top Tip:
"Upgrade to the Gold Card within the Hotel, it gives you free drinks from 1900-0000 in the bars, free drinks in the restaurant and free water and tea/coffee in your room every day. Cost 12.90 Euros /person/day"
Janet from SOMERTON reviewed the Beatriz Hotel and Spa
"Generally the food was good, but the meal which was left for us on our arrival on Sunday evening (20.05) was disappointing - a plated cold buffet consisting of meats and salads with a dry bread roll. My daughter is vegetarian and requested an alternative but was told she would have to request it at reception who would then have to instruct the kitchen - all too much trouble for us (and them obviously!) at 10 pm at night. Otherwise we found all the staff helpful and friendly. Good facilities and service."
Joanne from Cardiff reviewed the Beatriz Hotel and Spa
"Very nice hotel, in need of a bit of updating as carpets are looking a bit tired but all in all very good quality, only problem is that corridors or open and overlooking the entertainment areas below so as soon as you come out of your room you are exposed to whatever is going on down below shows etc so in the evening it can be quite difficult to get to sleep before midnight, our cure was to have a few drinks which got us off to sleep quite nicely !!! Good service by hotel staff always happy to help, but bars within hotel were expensive to drink. Some of the evening meals were thememed e.g. Italian, Chinese etc so if you just like your food cooked and not fussed with you might find the choices a bit limited. But overall very good holiday with the added bonus of the spa facility which was just fantastic. "
Top Tip:
"Use the Spa if you dont do anything else, you come out feeling amazing"
Dennis from Belfast reviewed the Beatriz Hotel and Spa
"Very good hotel, clean, modern and helpful staff. Hotel is about a 15 minute leisurely walk from the centre of Teguise but I wouldn't let this put people off as they have a bus that runs back and forward at certain times during the day. Spa is an incredible extra."
Top Tip:
"Lighthouse Bar & Grill, good food and reasonable entertainment"
"Hotel typical holiday tourist below average 4 star think 3 star and you probably will not be disappointed.
Hotel public areas excellent
Pools area outstanding
Hotel rooms large, tired but clean and comfortable
with very large marble bathroom with two sinks, hairdryer hopeless.
Offered room on top floor no pool view, distant sea view refused it as too out of the way with depressing views.
