"This was our 2nd stay at this hotel, we chose it for a couple of reasons, it is at the quiet end of levante beach and all rooms have sea views, it is not overrun with children or teenagers and it has a more continental clientelle. The pool and sunbathing area is not a large area but is mainly quiet and relaxing, which was what we wanted from our hotel, and the views from the hotel across the beach and sea are beautiful. I would not recommend it for young families, but it is certainly meant for couples young and old. There is no entertainment for children and the adult entertainment was more for the European holidaymaker than British, but it is Benidorm so you dont miss out do you."
Top Tip:
"From the pool area it is just a walk down some stairs and you are right on the beach and swimming in the sea, we did it most days, then returned to the hotel to relax."
James from Kilmarnock reviewed the Benikaktus Hotel
"This is a brilliant little hotel with outstanding views of the Levante beach and beyond. We previously stayed here about 10 years ago and it is largely the same staff who are there today. It has the feel of a family run hotel and the staff are friendly and extremely hard working. Food is what you'd expect of a three star hotel and none the worse for it. Three star prices for wine starting at 6 Euros for a bottle. Pool area is very tight and to be honest, best avoided. The Levante beach is about 100 meters from the hotel. 12 euros per day for 2 loungers and a parasol or far a cheapwer option, put your towel on the sand which is free. The Benikaktus is definately not for those with mobility issues as it can only be approached via a steep hill on one side and a set of stairs on the other. The balconies have recently been enclosed to create an additional living / bed space and while the windows slide open all the way round, the balcony does get very hot in the evening. I suspect this will be offset by the A/C, which was not switched on when I was there in May. All areas of the hotel including the rooms are spotless.
I will definately go back to the Benikaktus and well done to Travel Republic for the excellant rates they obtained for this hotel.....no one else even got close."
Jeannette from Caerphilly reviewed the Benikaktus Hotel
"The hotel was immaculately clean, maid service was very good, clean towels daily. Food was average, not a huge selection, but managable. The hotel was almost on the beach accessible down a slight ramp/wide steps through the bar (not a lot of people knew this and walked through reception down a steep hill)
Watch out for indoor pool very nicely situated but freezing cold, doesn't get heated until December.
Did not find the staff on reception very helpful and phone in room did not allow outside calls.

"All types of restaurants, bars to meet the needs of all ages. Huge beach 2 mins from hotel, very clean, safe for children. Very good shopping area, old town 10 mins slow walk vast amount of shops, restaurants to be visited there.
Second trip to Benidorm, Playa Levante enjoyed it."

"a very pleasent hotel...wonderful views from all rooms...staff very obliging...food nice but not a lot of choice.... a bit of a steep hill go get to the hotel... but steps down to the beach..so a great location really"
Top Tip:
"the white horse is a great pub just 5 mins away..... in fact lots of bars nearby....2 supermarkets also nearby...macdonalds...burger king"
"The hotel was lovely to stay in, it was friendly and in quite a good area. The only drawback would be the quality of the food which I would rate as poor."
"The location of the hotel is excellent with stunning views from the balcony, pool area and restaurant, the short but steep approach was the only draw back. The food choice was good and overall thought the holiday represented excellent value for money. Staff at the hotel could do with a customer care course as they were rude at times. "
NEIL from PONTEFRACT reviewed the Benikaktus Hotel
"Hotel was fine, food spot on, view excellent, needs to spend some money on the balcony area. Plenty of hot water on demand, maid service every day, towels etc.
Only down side was the lack of electric sockets (NONE), unable to recharge
mobile phone, camera etc."
"First Time used, will not be the last.
Trouble free apart from delay at airport comming home but that was not your fault.
Hope to use your company in the near future.
Thank You
Mr Ford"
