"The hotel was very nice as were the people and I would say 98% of guests were spanish so all the entertainment was in spanish so never understood a word, neither was englsih spoken at the reception, this added to the enjoyment but I don't know what would happen in an emergancy!"

"Really good facilities close to beach and with lovely pool. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice you really don't need lunch. Free pasta given out at lunchtime and fruit sticks during the hot morning.
Rooms are very large, we had a balcony with sea view next to our friends."

"Ideal holiday if you want a clean pool & close beach.Expect a high percentage of Spanish which points towards a good value breakfast & evening meals.(expect the usual mad rush at peak time meals) All entertainment are for the locals but adds to the atmosphere bearing in mind you are in Spain. You will have to use the local buses to reach local bars resturants ect and at 1 euro per ride you cant go far wrong."

"We found the hotel excellent in every way. The staff were helpful, the hotel was clean, food excellent and plentiful. The only drawback is that it is a fair walk into Garrucha or Mojacar but there is a local bus. We knew this anyway having previously lived in Mojacar.
We would definitely go there again but probably a couple of weeks earlier as we had the first week of the spanish children's school holidays which made it a bit busier than we like.
All in all to be recommended."

"Excellent clean hotel. Food superb. To far away from main centre of resort. Nothing to do in the evening. Spanish tried to put on evening entertainment but is was pretty poor stuff. Not a place to take a young family due to lack of facilites. Not much to see around Mojacar either. Luckily my cousin lives there so we spent some time with her."

"It was nice to go somewhere typically Spanish. Gave us a chance to practice the language. The food was good & the service great. Entertainment was ok, again very Spanish. It was nice to mix with other nationalities of which there were many. Dutch, Scottish ,English , Spanish, German. A thoroughly enjoable break and very good value..Thankyou"

"Rooms,Pool and dining were to a very high standard. Transportation and flights all on time will book again on line with Travel Republic.Great value for money"

"Wonderful. If you hate being surrounded by foreigners don't go. As I actually prefer them it was great. The rooms are similar to hotels in the Uk where you would spend approx. £100-120 per room per night. Immaculate service from reception, room staff, cleaning services. Perhaps they could put a few more people on the bar but otherwise . . . we only paid £25 per room per night B&B! . . . the breakfast was first class . . . as was the CAVA if you could face it at 9am . . . ok . . . I did do a bottle on the second morning but hey, I'm a rocknroll singer (River St/Private Dicks) . . . all in all can't recommend highly enough. Ignore the xenophobics."

"Hotel Facilities are excellent for the price.
It is however a long walk from the main clubs and Bars, and late night taxis can be hard to find."

"Hotel was clean enough & the buffet breakfast was ok if you like the continental style, although you had to microwave the water if you want a decent cup of tea. The pool area is quite good, but then the beach is just across the road which is very good - although the sun bed hire on the beach was expensive at 5 euros each (buy a parasol from one of the shops for about 8 euros and lay on the sand). The bar is large but very basic and more like a social club. Transport is easy to other parts of Mojacar Playa & Mojacar town using the bus which leaves every half hour - 1 euro to go anywhere, just remember what stop is near to where you want to go! (the next stop is never far anyway). A reasonable hotel to use as a base."

"food was excelent"

"Rooms were very good and well cleaned. Food plentiful and varied. Staff did not speak much English, apart from Reception, but all were very friendly. Disappointed that the air conditioning was switched without our beinmg told - likewise entertainment (what there was of it!) ended abruptly. Pool area was clean but lawns in the garden were very bare. Too many sunbeds, mainly stached up, for the area of garden available.
Would visit Mojacar again, but maybe not this hotel as it was a bit isolated."

"Found that the food was cold. Was told breakfast between 8 and 9, which we missed on one occasion, also told evening meals between 8 and 9 which I didnt think was long enough. Some people said they were open longer but we were given these time on a bit of paper. There was nothing there close to the hotel, if you wanted any shops you had to catch a bus. Not much evening entertainment."

"The food is not as bad as some have stated previously - although there is a tendency for it to be cool quite quickly - if like me you prefer your hot food to be hot, then you will need to get used to using the microwave on a regular basis.
AI - bar service ended at 11pm or as near to as the bar manager could manage, despite information provided to lead us to believe that AI was available until 11:30pm
Location - it's a bit out of the main area, but if you don't mind a 10-15 minute walk on the flat you can be in the centre of the resort area - although there isn't really very much of that
Rooms - are of a good standard - showers are typical Spanish hotel - sometimes hot, sometimes not!
If you hire a car, parking at the hotel is a bit of a nightmare - far too few spaces and very small ones at that - murder parking my 9 seater van
Conclusion - a Spanish hotel primarily for the Spanish, but if you can get past that worth a punt!"

"The hotel itself was perfectly fine. However it was the last week of the Spanish childrens holidays and the hotel was extremely busy and noisy. We had to fight our way to breakfast, it would of been nice to have been able to have found a coffee cup and hot coffee on our first morning, or even had coffee/tea served to us although we're not opposed to serving ourselves to buffet breakfast but time we'd found coffee one morning our table had been taken even though stuff had been left on it! It would also be a good idea to have a separate bar where children are not allowed in order we could enjoy drinks and conversation which was not possible in the one bar area with all games etc going on in it.
We would go back to the hotel but first check if it was in school time so we could move easier and hear ourselves speak."

"The Hotel where we stayed we felt that it is mainly for faimilies and not couples. The Gardens were very untidy, fly landing on you every opportunity. It had more sunbeds than southend beach. The entertainment was also geared up for children and families and was spoken mainly in spainish so we were most of the time unable to follow what was going on. We sat down in the lobe to have drink before we went in for our evening meal and was bombarded by flies yet again. the standard of is just not up to a 4 star. On the website the pictures show how lovely the grounds and the hotel looks, well I think the pictures are well out of date and this website needs to be updated. There were as I say more sunbeds than southend pier. We really just want a quiet holiday, but didn't manage to do so. My husband and I both work in high profile jobs so when we go away we just want to rest, read a book. This you really were unable to do. The room was clean and tidy, and we had fresh towels everyday that is the only good thing about this hotel and to be honest I really wanted to go home the second day. My husband and i felt that this althought rated as a 4 star hotel it did not meet what we would class a 4 star. We often go to Menorca and stay in a 4 star which we have found to be excellent but thought maybe we should have a change ah wrong thing to do and really and truly this has put me off staying in hotel ever again. You had to line up for a drink in the evenings, which is something we are not use too. In a 4 star hotel you would expect a waiter to come and take your order. the seating also around the patio and even inside the bar area was very cheap and tacky.
I am sorry if this is not the feedback you wanted to hear but felt you needed to know."

"If you want a great holiday among Spanish family holiday makers then this is a great hotel. Excellent food (buffet style) with a chef preparing freshly cooked dishes everyday. We had fresh Swordfish one evening and it was fabulous. Sparkling CAVA with breakfast everyday and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs ..perfect.
The hotel has reasonable gardens with trees and plenty of shade. We had a 7month old with us and she really enjoyed the climate. Excellent large pool and seperate kids pool.
The roms are a good size. Don't expect non-smoking however as you are in Spain!"

"The best thig about the hotel was it was very clean. The bar service is dreadfull and the food not up to 4star standed."

"very good stay"
