"Nice clean hotel with pleasant staff. The dining room was a little small for the numbers at breakfast but otherwise good"
Top Tip:
"When using the Metro go around the corner to Parce station rather than Pombal Square. It is much closer but you can't see it from the hotel. Transport tickets can only be purchased in the Metro and are relatively cheap. Don't walk all the way to the Welcome Centre to buy one. You can buy one to last any number of days which can then be used on buses, Metro and trams. Good value."

"Hotel Eduardo VIII has helpful staff, good breakfast, clean rooms; but plumbing temperamental, and bathrooms need updating. Good walk into tourist area, but get yourself a 7 colinas card for public transport (cheap) as hotel well placed for buses and Metro."
Top Tip:
"Try the Pasta Cafe just five minute walk from Hotel Eduardo VII on the same side of the road heading away from centre (east bound)."
