"The hotel was extremely basic. The bedlinen and towels are below par and despite being a non-smoking room, it stunk of cigarette smoke. The room was overpriced for what we received, even allowing for the fact that it was a one-star hotel. Not recommended."

"in all fairness the hotel was exactly what it claimed to be, budget! You couldnt fault the bed linen, or the shower facilities, they were nice and clean and that was all we expected of the hotel. With regard the rest of the hotel however, the rooms were very grotty, and i doubt the blankets had seen inside a washer for years! It was cold in the room, the heater appearing not to work. The reception staff were however very polite and helpful & permitted luggage to be left after checkout until departure time - which was a bonus. A positive attribute of the hotel was its location, it is situated one street behind the start of the RLD."
