"The CS Madeira is an absolutely stunning hotel. Very modern and minimilistic, which is why (without being stereotypical) i would say it is for young people rather than old people. The staff are extremely proffesional and attentive and the rooms (all with a view of the sea) are fantastic. We were on our honeymoon and had a lovely bottle of champagne waiting for us in the room on arrival. If we return the Madeira we would definately stay here again."
Top Tip:
"Book tours through the hotel reception desk, any shops on the street are usually cheap because they want to send you to a time share presentation first!
Book a full day jeep tour, my husband and i had toured the east side of the island with a local called nuno and it was a fantastic day out. Would also highly recommend the whale and dolphin watching trips, an amazing experience!
For food try the street opposite the irish bar at the top of the drive (on the right side). The first restaurant on the left has beautiful food and lovely staff - very good value for money as well compared to other restuarants nearby."CS Madeira Atlantic Resort and Sea SPA Hotel check-in Date:

"The hotel was lovely, kept really clean and the facilities were great. I really loved that it had an indoor childrens pool, as we went in late November it was too cold to swim outside, it meant that my 3 year old daughter got to swim everyday and we could take turns in the jacuzzi and turkish bath in the same room.
The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was the hardness of the matress! Although, we did not complain, so we don't know if an alternative would have been offered."CS Madeira Atlantic Resort and Sea SPA Hotel check-in Date:

"The Hotel had clean modern lines, some might think rather sterile, but we enjoyed it. The airconditioning was ineffective in our first room, but were moved to another very comfortable room (with a better view).
The included buffet breakfasts provided a good start to the day.

"Excellent hotel with good location for local restaurants and access to main town and Harbour etc.Good local bus service. Very little night life within the near vicinity. Drink prices within Hotel and associated "Irish Bar" were high and meals were not good value for money - would recommend local Restaurants for Lunch/Dinner. Service within the Hotel good and rooms of a high standard."

"The hotel was fine, ultra modern, some may even say it can appear a bit cold in its appearance. As the prices in the hotel were very high 14 Euro's in their hotel bat we oftern would simply retire to our balcony and have our pre dinner drinks there before heading out to the town for our dinner. The only downside to this was that the bars often were completely deserted given the hotel a slight gohst town feel.
The pool facilities were very nice and right by the sea which was a definite plus for us."Top Tip:
"In terms of the restaurants there is an amasing Sushi restaurant called Tokyo Sushi, just turn left out of the hotel situated above some local shops. As an abbsolute sushi lover I can safely say it is better then any Suhsi restaurant in New York or London. They have a great deal where you can eat and sample as many different dishes for 15 Euros. Absolute bargain!

"All the arrangements from the telephone booking to the return flight were excellent. Your member of the booking staff was informative and obviously went out of his way to meet our requirement. Everything worked like clockwork. The transfers were spot on. A very helpful and pleasant driver in a new cab. The spotlessly clean hotel was just superb. Exceeded our expectations in every way. All the staff were very helpful ,attentive and consistently cheerful. Superb value for money, we would have no hesitation in recommending Travel Republic!"
