"The hotel wasn't so bad. The room was nice and clean but the beds in them were really uncomfortable and it was hard to sleep on them for the first couple of nights. Food was acceptable but I think it could be better."

"A plesant hotel to stay in very high standard of cleaning, staff very friendly, food was ok but was very spanish, we would have liked a coffee with all our meals but only got one in the morning!"

"First impressions was that the hotel was well presented and very clean. Rooms were ok, nice bathroom. When we got to our room it only had two beds and there were three of us, so they put one extra bed in which made it very cramped. It said there was a mini bar/fridge but there wasn't. Pool very nice. The downside was, that I would not say it is not suitable for young people my daughter who is 16 was really bored. It said there was ping pong (there wasn't) only one pool table and entertainment was geared towards elderly Spanish guests. Reception staff couldn't speak much english. The food, well, it was terrible the worst in fact, that I have had abroad and we aren't fussy eaters. There wasn't any real choice. The Spanish seemed to like it though.Thank goodness for burger king. I think the hotel was for the spanish in every way. It livened up during the week though when a group of school children came.( quite refreshing.) We won't be going back there again."

"Hotel was impressive in the entrance hall but the room were average.The wall are very thin and you can clearly hear people in the next room talking and listen to their television without putting your own on in your room. The food was just terrible and lacked any variety, especially the breakfast. The worst I have had in a hotel for some time. My tip is AVOID this hotel because it was not worth the money. find somewhere else more suitable."

"Although the hotel states it is suitable for families it isnt. There was absolutely no entertainment what so ever apart from ballroom dancing for the elderly spanish couples. We found the hotel staff to be rather rude towards the hand full of british people that were staying there. We specifically requested a low floor but were given the 10th!!!. We were forced to seek entertainment from another hotel (pool tables, table tennis, games machines) so our two 13yr olds wouldnt be bored. I certainly would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

"the hotel had entertainment for oaps only , the play area was too far away from main enterance, and no kids club. the hotel was clean but food was just all the same all week....... all inclusive guests beware.... drinks only available from 10 am til 12n00n and then 4 pm til 7 pm then 945pm til 1130 pm with no exceptions this is not all inclusive. all be it 5 out of 10..."

"Nice clean hotel, staff were polite, room was cleaned daily all standard stuff. All inclusive (light) not the usual standard of all inclusive, food was just for the old Spanish people tasteless and repetative. Enertainment was all for the old Spanish guests. Lots of old people dancing, cards dominos old people games... The pool was freezing not heated! But it was a cheep holiday!!! (not bad) The hotel was packed with lots of old ignorant Spanish people!!! "

"Excellent value for money. Try staying in the wet cold UK for £10 per person per day, All Inclusive! Given a suite of two rooms (a bonus) plus a full bathroom Friendly helpful staff An explanation of what All Inclusive Light entails would have been useful prior to departure. There were times in the day when the All Inclusive was not valid. A pain if you wanted a drink when it was hot or simply a coffee"

"tower crane directly opposite the hotel but there are lots of tower cranes around benidorm ,but it was only a small building site. sometimes one of the 4 lifts did not work ,(they only could take 4 people at a push).nice hotel on the whole. "

"On arrival at my hotel i was told there wasnt a room due to a water problem of some sort,i was informed i would be staying at a hotel at the furthest point west of Benidorm which didnt please me too much,but the hotel was the Gran Bali which is the tallest hotel in Europe and 4 Star rating which suited me thank you. "

"Lovely hotel, good service. The only downfall was that it was the week that the Spanish Government send the Spanish OAPS on a free weeks holiday so we were the youngest in the hotel. This didn't spoil our stay at all though. The rooms were lovely and clean and the maids were totally inobtrusive, cleaning whilst we were at breakfast mainly. Food was plentiful and varied. Plates and cutlery were spotless."

"Our party were dissapointed to find out on arrival that we had booked fully inclusive light , this means food and drink was not available all day. This was not what we bought, the word light was never mentioned in the brochure ,we took it that fully inclusive meant food and drink at any time of the day "

"The hotel was nice an clean and the staff were very friendly, but they don't cater for the british at meal times. I'm not a fussy eater but my other half is, so while I found choosing a good meal hard enough, she found it impossible. Its also way out on the sticks, so if you want to go to the new town its either the bus, (2 euros) or a taxi, (7 euros), but that's where the night life is so you have to be prepared to travel. Definately not the hotel to go to if your older, or disabled as its quite difficult to get to from the main roads."
