  • "Ideal if you want a quite holiday away from the hustle and bustle of a resort. Hotel is situated a short distance from the resort of Paguera about a 25 minutes invigorating walk. That resort caters mainly for the German tourist. It is in a pleasant little cove with a small beach and the hotel has its own sun lounges, the hotel will issue beach towels (10 Euros deposit). Staff pleasant and the rooms were clean. The only criticism is the very small TV in the room and the poor quality picture on the large screen in the lounge.
    Public transport is available in Paguera and goes to Port d'Andratx to the west and Palma to the east
    I would recommend this hotel if you want a peaceful holiday but there are a number challenging walks in the area for those seeking some activity away from the beach."

  • "The hotel exceeded our expectations and if the weather had cooperated would have been the holiday of a life time. The staff were wonderful and all the arrangements we made worked out fine"

  • "Nice quiet hotel. The room furniture was old fashioned but comfortable. Our room was clean, it had a nice bathroom and a large balcony overlooking the sea. Nice little beach opposite the hotel. There is also a swimming pool on the 4th floor with lovely views over the bay. The food was good and the staff friendly. The hotel is a 20min walk into Paguera or you can hop onto the free hotel bus service to Paguera every hour.

    Paguera is nice small resort with lots of bars, restaurants and tourist shops. It also has a large sandy beach. Tourists are mainly German. Easy bus service into Palma.

    We will be returning to this hotel next year, 10 times better then any of the other hotels in Paguera."

Hotel Details - Cala Fornells Hotel

Combining traditional values and modern facilities, the superb family run Hotel Cala Fornells is located by a fine golden sandy beach on western Mallorca, in Paguera less than one mile from the resort of Palmira. The Pena Gaya family who now in their third generation, have been running the hotel for nearly 60 years, guarantees a warm welcome. The hotel is nestled in a small cove and is protected from the north winds by the Tramuntana Mountain Range, which is reputably the reason why Paguera enjoys mild temperatures all year round. There are some amazing views from the mountains that are popular with mountain bikers and walkers.
